After the Battle

I decided to share with you some pictures from the area around Imber Village, an area of Salisbury Plain where the local people were forcefully ejected from in 1943. The village church is untouched but the buildings around are mostly gone, however a few are still standing.

This area has a large number of Chieftain Tanks which are used as targets, there are other vehicles but everything you see here is the old Chieftain. I suspect this is what parts of Germany would have looked like if World War III had broken out between NATO and the Warsaw Pact countries. I hope this may be of help to those that enjoy modelling armour that has met its end.

At the end are a series of pictures which clearly shows the concentration of armour in this area.
