Hi everyone!

I was wondering how many people would be interested in a half-track campaign, say starting around September 2008. All scales, all eras, half-tracks only. What do you think?

If it generates enough audience I will submit it.

Opinions will be appreciated.

I'm game. Gives me another reason to shell out the bucks for the new Kfz 7.

I would be up for this campaign got both tamiya and Dragon kits in the stash give me an excuse to start them.

I would be very interested too!! But given certain circumstances, I must be cautions as to jump in.
For me it would be a definite maybe!!

It's good to see there's some interest, but so far we are only 4.

A Great Idea, I've got AFV , Dragon and Italeri Halftracks in my stash. Hope there is enough interest in this. I'm looking forward to building them.

I have several 251 variants I would love to start one count me in.

you know, I have not built a half track in like 15 years...

It's about time I did I guess.

I do have 2 in the stash.

A campaign would be good to encourage me to break one of them open.

People, what time frame would be good for you? I am thinking after summer, or maybe starting in summer, the earliest good date would be August for me. What do you say?

Taylor, it would be good as long as it is sitting on a halftrack, like the M-16 or a german halftrack with an AA gun (they have many ranging from Maultiers with flaks to Sdkfz 7 with flak). The halftracks were used for various purposes, so there should be a great variety of vehicles.

I have also mentioned this campaign idea in the AFV forums, let's see if it generates interest.

Remember, I am waiting for your feedback for the possible campaign time frame.

September or August is perfect. I got a M2A1 in my stash and by that time I should have finished my Abrams.
Can't wait to start

August/September mould be the best for me get most of my kit bashing done through the long dark nights

Let's call the beginning date August, if the campaign is approved then. I am submitting right away.

Oops I did this on the other forum first???? Sounds like a good Idea to me I guess I am ready to start one any time really as I have a bunch in the stash! I haven't done an online build or Campaign yet but this would get me going!

OK, AUG/Sept sounds good for me . Now , what to build ? I have two 251/1's, a 250/5, an Opel Maultier, a SDkfz 11 and a Demag 7. By Aug I'll probably have a few more. Well, 6 months to think about it. Keep On Modeling !

Are your 251/1's Hanomag's by any chance? I ask because I'm not sure how soon the new kfz 7's are going to be released and I found a Hanomag for 18 bucks the other day and was going to pick it later this week.
