I confess!! I've been led astray!! But it was temporary, had educational value and was FUN!!! A friend of mine asked me if I could build him a vehicle for 40K which would suit an urban combat enviroment. Sure, no problem, I thought... I thought that an old M113 with wheels would look cool and he supplied me with a lot of 40k-bits and pieces and the M113-hull. The turret came from an old M60-tank and the turret's gun is an old LAW from a Dragon weaponsset, as are the flamethrowers (stingers). I used parts from the rollingdoorsystem of a filingcabinet from IKEA and used tealightcups for the wheelarches. The colours had to match the Sovjetequipment from the "Fuel of War"-game and I wanted to make it look a little WW2 German too.. I used an airbrush for the first time and I applied washed for the first time too, using white spirit. And this is how it turned out... |

Does it come in a 1:1 scale. I need a new commuter vehicle, especially after yesterdays events. Cheers Dave |
