Very nice to see it coming to life....interesting half plastic and half metal barrel.

Do I see pre-tinted periscopes for the turret too?

Jason - I think I just found my Leopard conversion for the MLM group build!

And it will leave me a Stryker hull for a LAV-TUA....

That was for sure an option I had looked at when I was planning mine....I even did a drawing of it.....

It's listed at $38.99 USD on Lucky Model.....you probably won't find it much cheaper than that anywhere....especially in the U.S........better start buying lottery tickets.....something tells me you're not gonna find a rich woman anytime soon.

I've wanted a model of this for several years, ever since I saw the prototype photos in Army Times. I'm going to get 2 kits; one will be standard U.S. Army, the other painted up in a 'What if?' type camouflage.

Anyone heard any dates yet for these:

AFV M1128 MGS
Trumpeter M1127 RV
Trumpeter Centauro
Trumpeter LAV Mortar Carrier

And where can I get a date with a rich woman?

Thanks Scott,

You should check out the Modern Canadian Vehicles site .....and see the other Leopard "what ifs" or "WOTIFS" are being built there.....we are having a friendly competition.....and there are a few very cool concepts being built.

Looks excellent. I hope this one arrives in time for the Stryker campaign.

Thanks for the update, Jim.

Yup, here's the link.....just search for "WOTIF"

You'll find.....

-Moose-HEV (Heavy Engineer Vehicle)

-Kangaroo C2A1-UHAB (Urban Heavy Assault Breacher)

-Leopard C2A2-HR (Heavy Reconnaissance)

http://www.network54.com/Forum/169232/

I have been keeping tabs on your UK Leopard.....I like it.

There will be some images of the Canadian Leo WOTIFS posted on the site linked on or just after September 13th.

I like it alot, a worthy addition to anyone's collection

My only concern will be the slat armor kit, looking at the two Stryker MGS' I pass by on my way to work everyday, seems to have a modified slat, on the sides next to the turret, the slat bows out in a curve

I cannot imagine how delicate that could be in photo-etch since there is no support in the curve, only at the beginning and end of the curve
