Very nice dio so far! I like the bunker and the groundwork a lot and your painting is very nice as well.
I just have small remark about layout: position of the car next to the trench - it would have turn and move back to stay so close to the trench, maybe putting it more perpendiculary to the trench would be more realistic?
Where will you place remaining figures?

Looking forward to see more!

Well, I would, but I have already placed it in a fixed position, with impressions for the wheels! So that would be a big pain to fix, if I did move it. But thank you for the other comments too.!

Everyone else- I was going to have pictures for you all, but It was rather windy today, but very sunny! So I thought I would take some. I left for one moment to help my brother with his kite........ COME BACk..... it on the ground head and hand popped off!!
Well I got it bck on, fixed any paint markes, nd got it back to looking new! THANKFULLY!
But here is one picture before the incident!
It is the last figure for the diorama. So close to being done! I might make it before the deadline!!

Not the best picture, but...
I still have alot to do with his straps and stuff( weathering, gun metal)
I will work on it tonight!

Later,
John

Don't be hasty, Mr. Meriadock... I will ask Mark for extension so you have plenty of time!

Andrzej,
I wasnt trying to sound mad!! Hopefully I didnt sound like it. I agree with you about the vehicle, it would look more realistic. I hope I didnt sound annoyed by your advice, because I like all advice! Also you dont have to do an extension for the campaign just because of me!
I will get it done.

Anyways, got more pictures, hopefully everyone likes the yellow backround. To me it is the best backround ive used so far!

I noiced on this photo that there is a gap between the arm and body!

Hope thats not too many!!! All comments welcome!!!

IMO i see the diorama as a scene of suprise, the way the figures looked paniced and just firing their weapons ( unexpected allied push???), while the one behind the bunker looks like he struggling to comprehend whats happening. excellent work Johnathon.

cheers,

Looks really nice! I little nit pick though! The MG would more likely be on the right side of the hole, as the way it is, a lefty would have bee using it. Also, the jerrycans have two handles, not the correct three. You seem to have used the old Tamiya jerry can set, while the newer set that I reviewed has the correct three. Also, watch the seams on the 200l drums. I also would have put the bunker at more of an angle to the base. Other than those really minor things, the dio is really nice! I think it tells a really effective story, and It's really interesting to look at.

The post is from 2009. The author has most likely removed the photos from the server for more room. This causes broken likns and no photos. Remember this post is 3 years old.
