The BISON series I plan to design two , APV and MRV,

386 Bison photos on the way to China. I have also included Ambulance and MRT in addition to MRV and APC. Up-armoured ones are also in there, along with earlier ones with marine drives.

Feel free to use the 200-odd ADATS photos on the DVD to produce a kit of that!

Cheers

Excellent on the Bison pictures. I would much rather see a really good Bison kit than a LAV 3 ISC that hasn't been used yet.

I am also corssing my fingers on the ADATS.

东西是不错,这个车结合了斯崔克和LAV-25最好看的地方,出了必收。不知su7是否考虑把棉绳换成钢缆?是不是还带兵人,背包和饮料箱

The MMEV was never made or used by any nation. It was more of a concept vehicle that didn't make it past a governments wish list.

Go with the ADATS on the M113 Chasis as that is the vehicle that has been used.

Great to see you guys looking at armour from many different countries including Canada.

这个是加拿大陆军的,所以兵人和背包不适合在这个里面, 其他的饮料箱,食品箱和加拿大标语牌都有,棉绳是我随便找来用的

Hey if you are wanting to still do the ADATS it would be a very welcome kit......just make a proper Canadian ADATS on the M113 chassis.

Canadian DND image....

Great to see both the Canadian LAV III and NZLAV in the works. I think Trumpeter is the first company to do AFVs specific for the Commonwealth countries - Australia, Canada and New Zealand. Can't wait for the M1117 and it will be great if new Humvees (M1114 and M1151 variants) and MRAPS also get a look in.

Cheers

Well it looks like Trumpeter has yet to drop the "Kodiac" name for the LAV III release.

Look here

Trumpeter, this name is wrong, you will severly loose credibility if you release this kit with anything other than LAV III as it's name.

It would be like releasing a M-113 kit and calling it a "Gavin", it's wrong on so many levels.

cheers

Now that you envoked the GAVIN issue again, just last week I went to an officail Army website digging for some information and guess what, the M113 was referred to as the GAVIN... I will post the link once I get to work on Tuesday.

It’s funny that you say this about the Gavin and the American Army. Yesterday I just came across the LAV 3 being called the Kodiak in an official Canadian Forces Armoured Vehicle Recognition guide dated to Nov 2004.

It's the only place that I have ever heard or seen it called that in an official military document in the Canadian Forces. I have never heard it called anything more than the LAV 3. It is part of a power point slide show so I am not to sure how to post it. If someone tells me how, I will.

Its irritating they cant get the name right, but tbh as long as the kit itself is half decent I think I can live with the wrong name on the box top!

If Trumpeter hasn't corrected the original dimensional issues with the original Stryker hull after creating the LAV III then it won't quite look right with the turret on it....fingers are crossed.

Hopefully they include correct markings......if the kit has add-on armour then it can only be Afghanistan up to this point.....not SFOR or United Nations in Eritrea or Canada.

I was under the impression Trumpeter had re-tooled the hull following the initial stryker release, and corrected some of the problems?

p.s-great article in the latest afv modeller Jason!

Rob,

Base of Stryker is same as first. He maybe re-tooled detail parts.
I yesterday look on two ATGM and this is very different:
dimension and shape
details
price Lucky Models 35,99 AFV 28,99 TRU
You can try compare two hull fro new Trumpeter and AFV. On first look you look big difference.

G'day all ,
I know this may seem a bit of a dumb question but would this beautiful creation by Trumpeter be an accurate representation of an NZLAV III or would there be some extra work (aftermarket accessories ect) ??
I've always liked the real models resin kit but have cringed at the price.
Cheers,
Andy

Andy,
Here we talk about new Trumpeter model, if this correct. No about Real Model.
Maybe you donť know that all resin model is hand made and this have very different price.
Also included many accessories and PE parts.
Compare price resin and plastic kit is very don't suitable.
