Looks like an interesting product, but any idea / info if the colours would fade over time and if so how to stop that?

Cheers,
Ian

Thanks for the review, Henk.

Do you know if they ship to Oz? Or if they have distributor down here?

Thanks for publishing James.

Cheers for bringing us the review Henk.

I don't think I would use this in a diorama though. Casting aside my preference to forage, this product looks too obviously like a scrunched up leaf. It will need to be disguised well (i.e might work in a heavily forested diorama scene as groundcover, where it is difficult to make out the shapes of individual fallen leaves).

Hi Ian

Anthony at TREEMENDUS here.

I have been selling this product and others like it (in a range of realistic greens for foliage) for a few years now and to date have never received any info or complaints that it fades whatsoever. I hope this answers your question. Thanks for taking a look at the review.

Hi Rudi

Yes I will post to Australia, in fact I have just posted some to Queensland. As a guide postage and packaging on 4 x bags of Forest Floor cost £5 - (obviously plus the cost of the product). Cheers.

Hi Chas
"Forest Floor" is mainly made up from ground cork (dyed various realistic colours) with various other materials blended with it to give an overall appearance of a forest floor. It actually only contains about 10% ground leaf and is really useful for lots of diorama applications. That said if you're a forager, your a forager. I think I may have seen your palm trees using fern fronds?

Hi Anthony,

Thanks for your response.

Would you mind posting here to confirm when the goods arrive in QLD? The reason for the request to confirm delivery is simply because Aussie customs can be pretty tight on these sorts of materials - so if it get's through I know I'm safe to order

Will let you know Rudi. There is no way Forest Floor can pose a threat but I understand the concerns some countries have with certain materials.

All the best

Anthony
