So I save this image and forgot to bookmark the original post, and can't find it now.
What info do I need to scratch this version... ?
Is the Revell kit TPz 1 Fuchs A6 ABC good as a base?http://www.luckymodel.com/scale.aspx?item_no=RE%2003038
Does anyone have a walkaround or detail pics? Besides the Rhino, RWS, Slat...what are the other attachments on it?

THANKS!

Hmm this picture looks familiar to me Nick ...Here are three more :

The slat armor and the CROWS are parts of the M93A1P1 upgrade program :

Talking about the base kit, you can take a look at Carlos's inspiring conversion of Revell's TPz 1 Fuchs A6 ABC kit, even if it's the variant used by the British in OIF, not the US one :

Hey Henri,

Yes that photo was from your set..Thanks for the heads up!
The Slat size looks different from those on Strykers. Looks like the Revell FUCHS will need alterations.

I hope I'll get more photos soon, this is a real interesting to scratch!

Carlos build is superb.. too bad it's not a US version or some of my homework would have been done..

Have you looked on Primeportal? There's a 5 page walkaround of the M93A1.

Thanks Henri and Tony... for the pics and link on prime portal....Me thinks me having a clearer picture now!

Looks like the hull isn't too altered, much the same, but added with square-ish plates for the bar armor to be secured to, similar to the Stryker's.

So, lets see... I start off with the Revell kits, and make the alterations for a US version first.
Then tackle the individual projects to make 2 of these uparmored versions, one without the camo net thingy and the other with(provided I can find out what's under there).

-Spot lights,..6-shot smoke dischargers, (easy)
-Rhino Anti-IED device.(easy)
-Base plates and Bar armor.(a lot of hair-pulling)
-CROWS.(a little hair-pulling)
-and that area at the top covered with camo net (what the heck is it??!)

-Considering scratch building the interiors, unless they're available.

I will start this WIP blog same time as the M1117 Guardians next year. Now to continue collecting data. So please keep the info coming.

(After I complete my other blogs as I got a ton of pics to edit and post in my blogs for my M1s, Strykers, AAVs and Humvees.)

So I got a another parcel from Luckymodel the other day and now I have 4 Guardians in wait for the for a few different versions as well as the M1200!...However I got only 1 FUCHS/ FOX instead of 4! The other 3 are on backorder.. oh well it gives me more time for researching the version I want o build in this post.
The FOX is massive compared to the Guardian and is also crying out for an interior!

BTW, hopefully some body out there will see this post and more pics of the newer FOX version will be avail...

Thanks Tony,

Anyone review or a link to better pics of it? The one at their site isn't really clear.
