Hello together.

I come from Bavaria in Germany and was born in 1964. now for approx. 20 years I pursue our common hobby. My English is not are sufficient, for your side that's why I use a translation program.

One year ago I have found a picture with rummaging on the Internet and after plentiful consideration the decision matured the shown scene to copy. .Today I would like to introduce to You my work. Today I will begin with the first pictures. A lot joke.javascript:PasteSmiley(':-H')

The Picture from the Internet.

Hello I sees always good pictures here in the forum. I search pictures of ACR 11 of the time in Germany, somebody helps me of You. many thanks from Germany.

Juergen,

Its such a funny shot and I am sure quite embarrassing for the crew in question. Great idea to model the scene. You’ve done a very good job indeed. You might have a show winner there! Congratulations

Great job. It looks just like the photo. I would hate to be the TC and have to explain that to the CO.

Juergen,

Very nice! An excellent recreation of the actual photo.

The only thing I've noticed is that it appears the blow-off panels are the smooth type on the real Abrams and you have the ones with the "mushrooms". But that's just a small thing and only if you really wanted to be accurate. (picture from Prime Portal)

Hi Juergen,

Great looking Abrams. I'm sure that took some explaining to the Boss.

Would make a good training opportunity for the recovery guys though

Juergen,

First off I would like to say GREAT JOB. I know that I couldn't have done that good on it. I was wondering if you had anymore pics of it I would love to see the bumper number of the tank and see if its from my old battalion.

The other thing I would like to point out is that the tank in the picture, if you look close at the front slope it, has a mine roller bra. Now granted most of it is in the ground, but you can see the top of it on the front slope.

I do love this model though, and again GREAT JOB

Hello Michael, I have only this photo. some friends who deal with the U.S. markings told me. it was a vehicle from this division.
