Hi All!

First of all – please excuse me if I don’t answer immediately. Situation at home is not allowing me to spend as much time in front of my computer as I’d like to and firewalls at work block almost all pictures so I’m not visiting the site as often as I probably should as campaign leader…
Nevertheless – I’m still trying to finish my previous project before starting the one for this campaign.
@Andras – if this is Revell than what are other Famos? Are you planning to write some comparison of these kits? That would be interesting.
@Tom – it sure is great looking kit! And clean built you are showing to us!
@ Matt – welcome! OOB it is then (I’m not planning to add any AM parts to my kit as well, so don’t feel alone here )
@Sal – where’s the “Wash me”?
@ Sean – is the Tamiya really that old that the Academy was better? I made few Tamiyas and two or three Academy kits and Academy detailing and fit was lightyears behind Tamiya’s.

Andrzej,
I'm actually repeating a review I read online. I've really seen the Tamiya kit or an actual mutt up close. I hope you're right. That's reassuring!
thanks,
Sean.

Be careful guys! Academy actually has TWO molds for its Mutts. One is the old one, which is actually a rip-off Tamiya. The other ones have newer box art and are actually Academy's own molds. Compared to Tamiya's offerings, they are very nice builds. My recent Mutt was Academy's new mold.

It comes in this box... I think there's also a new mold M-151 A1 as well.

THAT is a good news

I've just uploaded a ribbon, hope you all like it.

I'm still not moving forward with my build... Previous diorama is still not finished and I also have to repair models damaged in transport from the show...

Andrzej, the ribbon looks good I like it. Do the colors have any meaning to them or are they just some random colors that look good together

I'm happy you like it
As for colors: I've seend "No tanks allowed" singe some time ago (in Prague I think...) and I thought it could match the campaing profile. Since it was red/white/black I decided to chose background color from these three. Black looked good, so did red which I used as side stripes. Yellow is used as a perfect link between black and red.

Hello everybody,

I have two ZIL-157 on my desk; waiting to be completed. Is that acceptable?

Andrzej
I'm doing a Revell, and two Trumpeter famos. (One with the 6 ton crane.)
I also have a Revell extra with the CMK Flak 88 conversion, which is going to the AA campaign. (And thinking about getting an Airfix one - should the gods of Ebay favor me.)

Hello everybody,

during the last days, I worked on the two ZIL chassis. In order to get some details, I added some wires to the chasis:

And here is a detailed shot of the engine:

I hope you like. Any comments welcome.

Okay fellas, this is my "Not Fighting" Vehicle.... Don't hold it against me.

The idea first came to me when I saw this photoshopped Fuchs here in Armorama in some topic. I thought it was pretty funny disguise for a Fuchs.

Then, while I was looking around HLJ, guess what I found... A 1/24 scale decal sheet for cars... but it could just do the trick!

Here's the poor kit (or should I say Kitty?):

Here's the rest of my quick, funny and dirty project. All hail the UberCommander Hello Kitty!

By the way, I decided to call this a HKA (Hello Kitty Army) Behemoth. This one is the Ubercommander's personal command vehicle.

Yeah, that's definitely a lover, not a fighter. I'd hate to live anywhere that that camoflage would work!
thanks for posting though!

Thanks guys

So much pink can work as camouflage hmmm... in either the desert, or a love parade. Yeah, I wouldn't like to be in neither of those places, too hot for my comfort

Emre, I agree with Lucas. That's BRIGHT, Pretty in Pink, and definitely different.
I'm going with a Shake-N-Bake Tamiya Kommandeurwagen.

It's been sitting on the shelf for a while so it needs to be built.
How fast I actually finish it is another issue.

Emre,
I just signed up for the campaign. I will be building the IBG Models Einheitsdiesel Kfz 61 (Heavy telephone exchange truck) I have started it as a build log under Armor?AFV category as well, is that okay?

Hello Rick,

It might be double-posting, but I'll be glad if you could post the photos here as well. You can skip the commentary, only photos and maybe a link to the thread in the AFV section should be enough. Otherwise, since we'll be looking at this forum thread to check progress, we might forget about your build.

I finally have something to add to this campaign! Here's my start:
Starting-20110317-2148
I'll take the Tamiya M151a2 and stretch it into an M718a1 ambulance.
thanks,
Sean.
