A good review with which you seem to have been very generous. As for the MG I see what you mean, is it an MG or a broom stick with some nails banged in for good measure.

James, thanks for getting this up so quickly!

Darren, thanks for the comment. Yeah, maybe 55% was a bit generous. I had it on 50% first but got soft in the last minute... I should stick to my first impression next time...

Cheers!

This kit is the old Toga kit.
I recently bought one on Ebay cheap.
Since it's a model which no other manufacturer have, I thought i try it.
It is as stated a basic kit.

Fit of parts is not great, as far as i built it. The drivers visor and the radiator doors don't fit. They are bigger than the openings in the body.
With some TLC i guess it will build okay.

Good review and good images Stefan.
Theres no doubt after seeing the images about the expected quality.
On the other hand, some of the nicest builds I´ve seen have ben old kits like this fixed up. MasterClub sell excellent bolt/rivet sets (about $4 from Hobby Easy) and an RB barrel ... even a Dragon replacement for the machine gun. Some thinning of the visible edges or replacing with plastic card ... you have an excelent little and unusual vehicle. It appears to be an easy enough upgrade ... even for those less experienced. At 11 euros, it could be worth the bother and a lot of fun!

Thanks for that info Rob, care to make a buildlog about it? It would be great to see how it goes together. I won't be starting mine before the end of the year unfortunately.

Frank, thanks for the feedback on the review, it's good to know I'm on the right track. You're right about what you say, I like to update an old kit with some scratch work now and then and I'm sure it will be a fun little kit to build. As I said, provides the basic forms and an invitation to scratch the rest...

Cheers!

Herre are some pre-paint pics to give you an idea of the work needed to bring it up to speed. Not necessarily accurate, but a bit more detail than OOB...

Cheers!
