Darren Baker shares with us a walk around of the Centurion Stridsvagn 104, this example is currently on display at Bovington Tank Museum. This tank started life as a Mk 3 when bought by Sweden in 1953 and was continually updated until 1994 when the last updated.

The strv 104 was actually in service until 2000 when the last conscripts was trained on the tank.
The gunners that year could fire as many live rounds as they liked because the ammo was going to be scrapped at the same time as the tank so the ammo was free.
The last regiment in Sweden to use the Centurion was P18 on the island of Gotland.

Just think the IDF are still using them in one form or another, as well as south Africa! It has to be one the longest serving AFV around.
