AFAIK this one is based on the M-ATV MMV (Multi-Mission Vehicle) chassis.
Here are two more pics :

You can see these pics in Hi-Res on Oshkosh website (in the Light Tactical Vehicles photo gallery) : http://www.oshkoshdefense.com/vehicles

No, it's the Vajra Miniatures kit. Another home run if you ask me. This thing goes together like a plastic kit. The resin is very easy to work. I've done three of their other kits as well (you can see by build review of the D9R and blog of the Buffalo on this site) and this is by far the best.

And if you go to militaryphotos.net and scroll through the USMC thread, you will see photos of one in the field, as it were.

Rob, thank you for your input on the MATV, based on that (and other things), I will be getting one. The seat issue you identified earlier doesn't bother me too much as for the most part, it won't be seen.

thank you all.

If anyone wants the TOW assembly from my Tamiya Hummer kit to scratch build this one, let me know and you can have it.

cheers,

Kylie

I'm surprised they didn't go for that new armored TOW turret they've been throwing on MRAPs.

I knew they had fitted the TOW to the RG-31, but this is the first picture I've seen of it in the field. That's the TOW ITAS turret arrangement from the M1167 HMMWV. I'm sure if the US Army or USMC purchases the M-ATV fitted with TOW, they'll use that turret setup.

Too bad the pics Robert posted aren't of a plastic kit... which would be within my budget

Maybe some day....

AFAIK not yet , but here's at least a 100% scratchbuilt RG-31 Mk5E build log by a Spanish modeler, Francisco Gonzalez :

WoW now that's what I like guys. If they can do it so can "I". Thanks for the link. I'm going to jump on to building those tires first.

Thanks so much guys.
Now as for the first one I think I can scratch build that one as well.

Looks like the cool looking M-ATV or MRAP All-Terrain Vehicle kit is from Vajra Miniatures. The kits model No. (FF35009).
