Hello,
I found this picture while browsing on the web. Very interesting version of Unimog I think.

Do you have more information on this version, any other picture? I think the photo´s title mentioned Norwegian Special Forces truck.

Thanks for any help.

Hi Jiri

Sorry I can't help you with your request, but talking about interesting Unimog variants, the one used by Belgian SF guys is worth a look as well...

Frenchy;
That is the badest a$$ gun truck I have ever seen. If you have more info I would LOVE to see it. That is sweet looking. Cheers.

Here's another one. Belgian SF use them in Chad :

You can also see them in this video :

AFAIK, this variant is based on the U1350L chassis.

Damon you can PM me your email as I may have few more pics if you like them (and I prefer not to highjack Jiri's thread more )

I was wrong about the Unimog variant used for the Belgian SF truck : it's based on the U1300L chassis, not the U1350L...

In fact the Belgian SF Unimog pictured in my first post may indeed be based on a U1350L chassis

More info here

Now back to the search for Jiri's truck pics !

Dear Frenchy,

thanks a lot for the pics. Of course I´ve seen this one already However I´d really appreciate to see the new Belgian version "in action". Anything available?

Hi Jiri

Unfortunately, I haven't found any "in action" pics (only promotional videos ). Maybe it's because Belgian SF have received this new truck only last year AFAIK. I'm not sure it has been already deployed outside Belgium yet...

Hi mate,
Know this version well its a U1700L both the NZ Army & Aussies use them, the photo looks like Khandaha, the only mogs I saw there belonged to the Aussies.

Hello gents,
I'm one of the builders of the new Belgian SF Unimog. In fact the typename is JACAM. It is based on a Unimog 1350L chassis. The armament on the vehicle is 1 x Mi.50 on ring mount, 1 x MiniMi 5.56 LINK for the co-driver and 2 x GPMG (MAG) 7.62 LINK at the left and right rear. It is build as a logistic ressuply platform.
There are no action pictures available because the vehicle is still under construction. The first vehicles should be in service from the end of 2011.
I have some great pictures and a publicity movie, but I don't know how to send them to this forum.
