Hi,
I ordered from Yaroslav 5 sets (LRE48001) in 1:48 scale, he asked if it makes sense to make a 1:48 heli crew? I replied that I would buy figures on this scale because I have several 1:48 scale models: CH-46E, CH-53E, MH-53E and CH-53GS/G (with conversion MH-53J Pave Low). I think that 2 figures should be sold in such a set (2 crew figures, 2 door/window gunners. What do you think about this?
Happy modelling,
Dariusz

I agree, more helicopter crews are always good. 1/48 is not my scale for helos, but there are plenty who build in that scale.

As a helicopter crewman I just have 1 comment. The flyingcontrols are linked therefore only ONE person has their hands on the cyclic and collective sticks at a time otherwise they would be fighting each others inputs. The controlling pilot of a NATO helo normally sits on the right. The copilot would probably be assisting with lookout or map reading. Also the left hand of the controlling pilot would be on the collective stick in a combat situation, you wouldn't be using the autopilot!
