Who can tell me/ get pictures of, the M8 tractor,
specifically I'm looking for info about Exercise Timber Line in Alaska in 1963.

How is the symbol for the aggressor force painted.
Was the 155mm Long Tom still being used by the 23rd Infantry at the time?

Thank you in advance

The Ampersand Publishing "High Speed Tractor" A Visual History of the U.S Army's Tracked Artillery Prime Movers, is the best collection of photos of the M-8 you will find out there. It even has a pic of an M-8 during the exercise you mentioned. The aggressor forces vehicle looks to be whitewashed with a dark circle (O D ?) with a white triangle centered on that circle. These are on the front of the vehicle and on the side just behind the cab door. Drop me a pm for more detailed info. Don M.
