While I don't know Dave, anyone who builds one of these WITH the serious outcome like this has some great dedication qualities.

I'd love to own one but man, I couldn't do it.

Well done, Dave !
Was there a crowd around, when you went to unveil it? When I took mine to AMPS east, in 2006, they just put it on it's own table, at the ENTRY to the show. At BAYCON, in November of that year, I got Judge's Choice award, and Armor line award.

Thanks all for the complements. One more show to go to this summer, Oshkosh WI and then she'll probably have to move on to a new owner. I really didn't realize how big she'd be. Again thanks, I could not have done it without your input. Dave

And Mark, I did build a snap tight this week, Damn that was fun...

Are you thinking about selling it or donating it to a museum? I guess if you donated it, you could always go and see it. However, if you find a buyer..... Cash Money.

Still can't get over the size of this thing.

John, checked his profile and Dave hasn't been on the forum since May. You may get a faster response if you try to email him directly (he's listed his address in his profile)

Bringing this thread from the dead.

Dave, do you have any info on what measurements you used to cut the barrel?
