Plus ... that "large scale gallery" is really for these Campaigners finished projects. You can upload images anytime in the Kit Maker Gallery and provide a link for all to see your work, or just add them to your thread in the Forums.

~ BTW ~ Gary K. Would you remove the question mark in the title of this Campaign Thread?

Thank you!!!!!

I think I'll do both. I want to build a 1/32nd aircraft (undecided at this time) and either finish up an armor project or start a new one that's been sitting for a while.

They both depend on availability and cash flow. I really want the F-105, but that's around $75.00 and starting another armor project may involve purchasing a HL donor RTR.

Decisions, decisions.

This will sound like an echo (and a shameless bump too) but I just cannot decide what to build? I want to finish off my 1/16th Panther to make room, and I have a 1/16th Elefant waiting in line with new metal tracks and Tamiya electronics. I also have a brand new aluminum barrel that cost $30.00 for it and it took another 20 spot to modify it. (I have a wimpy lathe)

So ... still looking out for that 1/32nd aircraft to go along with it too. They are so expensive that if I gotta spend THAT kind of money I might as well get that F-105 I want. Those are $75.00 and higher!!!!!

Good thing it's pretty far off. Hell, I could even be dead by then! Nah ... I can't get that lucky.

JT ,, oh we test drove it alright ..all over the place inside ..even chased the cat with it but that didnt quite work out ..my cat Kaiser ain't afraid of anything and he attacked the tank ..funny as hell
Its a shame in away cause even tho everything works the turret is gonna be destroyed for parts but if i can help it i'll try not having to do that .
Nothing of the beautiful gun will be used ,,but i am sure i will find a use for the gun

Yup and yup I am building 2 dios for one customer ..Crossing the gap and one which over took that one called Somewhere in Iraq .
Crossing the gap is a big one and pretty damn expensive just in models alone ..no labour costs yet for totals ..i get payed bit at a time .that way always got money to play with or i get him to get me items from over seas and just take that off the labour costs .
Crossing the gap is on the Dioramas page in here .

The Buffel is for another customer .. hes loves 1/16th and has a heap of those ..if i remember right 17 or so .
Next he's looking at is 1/6th

I might entertain working on 1/16th RC armor next year, once I get through the Campaigns.

There are many out there that do not have the time or the understanding to build these into a premium fighting tank.

Couldn't agree more bud ,, the amount of detail alone on these can be amazing ,I would love to get many more of these sized tanks but expense is the issue ..they not cheap here mate ..fact that Leo 2 all up is $2500 NZ so ouch and now i've cut the hell out of it ,dude this stuff can get expensive

I think I'd like to get in on this build. I have never done a campaign before, and I've no idea what to build...something that's not too pricey.

Is it too late to sign up?

The only time it's too late is when the Campaign is over, so ...

... WELCOME ABOARD!!! There's a lot to choose from, even on eBay there are plenty of affordable 1/32nd aircraft around.

Hi Jeff,
Thanks. I love me some tanks, so I think I'll find a sweet German piece to build. What's cooler than a tank, but a bigger tank, right?

Hi Jeff,

I'll be building Tasca's 1/24 Pz II F so no wires, batteries or gears for me . I plan on purchasing AM barrels and will consider adding some PE. Someday I'll tackle one of those 1/16 kits...

If you're taking suggestions, I second Jeff T., 1/16 ELEFANT please!

Hey Brandi!

Since this is to be your first Campaign, the biggest rules/guidelines to follow is that Armor and soft skins are in the 1/24 to 1/6 scale range and Aircraft can start at 1/32nd.

STARTING DATE is January 1st, 2013 and ENDS: December 26th, 2013 ... more to know is right here

https://armorama.kitmaker.net/modules.php?op=modload&name=Campaigns&file=index&req=showcontent&id=599

with the sign up list.

Thanks, Jef. I just enlisted! yay!

Now I need to find something to build so I can save all my pennies for it

Edit: I want to build a non RC tank in 1/6...where should I be looking to purchase one of these?
