Jeff;

I'm enlisted herein. It's (OK in FEB 2013) Paper Panzer time!

I'm guessing that you'll be the Campaign Leader, so you'll have an answer for me on this...

Having just allocated my E-100 to the super-heavy campaign for 2013... now it's time to consider my other Paper-Pz options: will one of those trumpeter Waffentrager kits (say that Krupp with the 105mm howitzer in a squarish turret, or its 88mm counterpart) work? I don't think either were actually ever built, even as prototypes, so they should be Paper...

Or it could be the Trumpeter E-25 kit for me.

Bob ,, I would say the news is going to be good on the 88 version ..found these

Thats got to be the prototypes there as there is two different machines there .
But the 105mm .. i can not find a single pic of one so it looks like the prototype was never made but i know there is official drawings out there so if ya can find a pic of one of those you might be good to go there too .

Yes Bob, I am the Campaign Leader on this one and I see a flaw in my description as it may exclude too many vehicles that still could be considered a what if, than a paper panzer. Paper Panzers were never built but what if's still could have been worked up into a prototype and as a non-working vehicle whether it was truly all metal or some parts as wood like the Flakpanthers were.

So, I do believe we should include prototypes too as they were not full production vehicles either.

Make sense?

I have been slinking about, wondering if this is going to run. Since it has been given the green light I am now in the process of deciding what to submit to be built. Going to have fun!

Jeff mate i think it would be a brilliant idea to include the prototypes too .
God knows theres a heap of them out there and that alone would make this campaign very cool ..just to see who comes up with a prototype of something .i have some very cool looking prototypes on my comp and some of those i might have to look at very seriously for this campaign .
Once i am relocated and got my crap sorted i will be attacking this and a couple of other campaigns with some gusto i can tell ya

Ya dude .. got with prototypes too

If prototypes are included that would great cause then I could build my Dragon SdKfz181 Panzerkampfwagen VI(P)

I believe only 1 was made and there were 2 others were in the process of being built
I can then save my E-100 for the Super Heavy Campaign

I'm probably going to get in on this, as a new year's resolution to get some campaigns under my belt. Thinking about an E10 or a Lowe, anything is possible, though.

As awesome as a Panzerkampfwagen VII Löwe (Lion) sounds, I may just stick with my Trumpeter E-50 as I have an aluminum barrel for it and who knows what other things may come along available for it by next year.

The Löwe would be a good Super Heavy Weight contender!!

2013 is going to be a good year for me.

I have been eying my Trumpeter E-50 for a long time now. We are gonna get it built, finally!

We outta get together on the paint and we both finish them the same way, then do a comparison at the end!

Hi Jeff, hi John,
what ever you two do, get yourselfs new tracks , or you will curse Trumpeter forever. I used I used the Hobby Boss Tiger II tracks on mine and it was a real relief to do so.

Thanks Paul, but I had no problems or issues with the Trumpeter tracks on my Emil. Other than they didn't sag I was relieved I didn't have to invest in more tracks.

Those Bronco tracks I bought for my Coelian were pretty much a handful, so if I do get anything it'll be metal all the way and screw gluing tracks ever again!

You guys that are able to do it, that's amazing as I don't have the patience!
