I have been rolling a few ideas around in my head for my next campaign. I would like to do a clandestine operations campaign. Being that it is clandestine operations, nobody would be able to provide proof thereof. So, this will be a "most likely" campaign. WWII-present. From the jungles of Columbia to the deserts of the Gulf. Let me know what you guys think. I would like to begin it early next year and run for eight months.

I love this idea! Special ops stuff? The equipment that (wink, wink) you never saw; it was never here. Like that stealth helicopter tail left in Abbatabad that couldn't be explained away.
A good research project, for sure!

I found this site for U.S. Special Ops vehicles here.
That Delta Force Pandur AGMS is something I hadn't seen before.
Of course, you're hinting that there are vehicles that aren't even in the media, and that's the stuff we should be modeling!

Exactly the type of response I was looking for. I think I'll be doing something with US Navy Seals, although I like the idea of combatting the drug trade in Columbia.

Matt this is a great idea! love anything special forces!! count me in for sure!!
Question as we know spec forces go all around the world and there equipment they use we dont hear of. what about some "what if secret" equipment broaden the campaign imagination as to what spec forces may use that weve never heard or seen or even thought of bein built??! For example ive bin playing gears of war 3 and they have alittle mecha robot that a soldier can jump into with some 50cals and grenade launchers which is small and light and able too keep up with the squad while also giving suppression fire! thats just alittle idea what you think?
or would that be a seperate campaign?

Not going to allow anything that advanced. Just a little bit too much on the science fiction side. It mus be at least something that the military currently operates.
On that note, figure only dios and vignettes will be allowed.

Did I mention you should count me in?
Here's my plan for now, the UK Springer...

It would take extensive scratch-building-- probably using parts from something in the toy section of the store-- but doable, with no compound shapes.

I think I will be sticking with figures, for this one. I should probably make this a Kitmaker Network campaign, as I am allowing helicopters and designated support boats(rubber dingy, UDT boats, etc.).

Is that currently in service? I ask because if you made duplicates of your scratchbuilds, why not sell it to a resin maker who could sell it as a it? (Of course the key here is not to sell it to a resin maker that will sell it for a fortune).

I've be very interested in having one. There is still a lack of SOF "ATV-like" kits.

As for the campaign, I'm interested in joining.

Count me in. I have a couple in the stash from the 160th SOAR that should fit the bill.

I like the sound of this. Count me in. As I primarily do WW2 stuff I'll probably go for Skorzenys Operation Greif in the Ardennes. Looking forward to it!
