(clasps hands together, prays to the Gods of styrene- replicated Krupp Steel)

That would be awesome- if not, I'll just post pics in this campaign forum and you can let me know what the finished product looks like.

Here is my "finished" entry into the King Tiger Campaign.
This was an extended King Tiger Chassis with a 12.8cm Gun.
One was under construction when the war ended.

There is a lot of great work in the other entries and I salute their talents.

eMan I think that Jagdtiger looks great and as with a number of builds here I may come looking for a feature.

Tom knowing what a pig that kit can be you have done a very thorough job.

Jeff I have extended the campaign for a couple of weeks so that those near the finish can add their spit and polish to their efforts.

Darren, talk about a brain cramp It was early, and I had only had one cup of coffee. But anyway, it continues to be a good campaign and I'm sure when I get my ribbon I will be thankful for it. As I said earlier, model on, Jeff T.

[quote]Good luck Boys!

@Burak- I like the Trumpy kit with the Porsche turret as it has zimmerit on it already. I'm doing mine in whitewash as well so looking forward to seeing yours done. I'm taking a short break as the road wheels set before adding the tracks which I have washed and added the silvering where the road wheels make contact. Hoping to have the lower hull done tonight then glue upper/lower together for final paint and weathering.

Kerry, whitewash really suits this tank very much.

I have engaged some problem because of my abstraction. Nevertheless it will be OK after last actions. Pictures of recent condition:

Looking sweet Panzerace! You're right about the white wash on this tank, it really allows you to see it's lines which I think are the best of any tank along with the Panther of course. I have the first coat on mine with another coat to go when this damned rain would cease long enough! The high humidity is affecting my airbrush time in my paint booth AKA my garage! Tomorrow's weather is supposed to be better so I'm hoping to get that coat on it. Then it's washes, weathering, scratches, and chipping. That should finish it!

@CMOT-Thanks for the additional time! I'm usually critical of deadlines...since they are there for a reason, and I get my models done in the time alloted. This one somehow got away from me so a big CHEERS Darren!

Was able to get in the last of the the over-all white wash last night. Applied some washes and did some detail painting. Next is some dry brushing and chipping/weathering.

Thanks, Kerry. I have not thought about scenery yet. I did not put turret number, so I can make it East Prussia or Hungary. This was my first white wash experience and I can reinforce it with a little white scenario.

And yours seem to be fine.

Alas, all good things must come to an end.
It was a blast. I learned a lot. Had a great time doing so...and actually finished one! (Well...there's still a little more to do to make it 'complete' but it is 'display case worthy' as-is. And is an armor kit ever truly "done"?)

Thanks for a well run and enjoyable campaign and the very cool ribbon!
