I hope to enter with the Dragon Pz38(t) S, just need to get some other projects out of the way.

Jon - I recently finished one of Trumpeter's Neubaufahrzeug kits with the same track set up. I found the pins supplied with the kit were too short. They were a real pain to assemble. Looking forward to the build!

Welcome Ryan !
What's in the Blast update ?

The Blast update has a bunch of resin bits for the interior, radios, ammo stowage, etc. Also has an aluminum barrel with a very nice resin breech and muzzle brake.

I've managed to get the tracks assembled and mocked up the running gear to make sure the length was correct. I'm not sure if I will use the Fruil drive sprocket as this earlier type was rare on the ausf M. I had to add a .030" spacer to the Tamiya return roller and will need to do the same to the sprocket to fit the tracks.

More progress than me, John

I've been cleaning up the parts and getting everything ready for assembly...getting the tedious stuff out of the way. Muffler and barrel halves are put together and the seams dealt with, and added .5mm wire to the upper hull to hang the side skirts on. Glue time soon

Nice process James, get the tedious parts done upfront..
The best thing with this Campaign is the wheels & suspension are quite easy to build / paint... no PzIV wheels painting or Tiger ones with inner & outer wheels..

Welcome Max !

I'm doing the G version, from Tristar too.

Howdy Y'all:
Here's the kit I'll be working on. Not much to do but I enjoy building a simple kit every now and again.
Y'all take care,
Don "Lakota"

Don, I saw the preview of the Panda 1:16's.. your build is quite small, that kit might fit inside a 1:35 turret...

Just have fun and don't loose your tank to the carpet monster..

I think you might be right there . I don't have the G version but may have get one, I think I'm developing a bit of a fondness for the 38.
Cheers.

Some nice work being shown.

I figure I'd post some progress. As a refresher, this is the Academy 1/35 Hetzer (late).

Lower hull and running gear.

Rear deck. Academy left everything seperate. Nice option if you want to fill out the engine compartment. I prepanted the rear grill to fit the PE grate over. I kept the exhaust off for now.

Rear hull. I left the spare track and brackets off for now.

Main gun.

I went ahead and sprayed a base coat of dark yellow. The kit comes with masks for an ambush scheme. I am leaving off a lot of the pieces until I mask the hull and put down the base camo coats. Then I'll add the pieces and then just touch them up.

The next step is masking and painting the camo. I might try that this weekend or next week.

Looks like Alex John and Max are making some nice progress here and I finally got around to starting my kit as well

My 1st Impression was gee a lot of plastic for a small vehicle but then i looked through the instructions and found that this kit comes with and engine and transmission
So after step 3

Hit a little snag with my build, since my kids destroyed the running gear beyond repair... So will have to get a new kit...
