Thanks John,
now all I have to do is find something to build, as the SdKfz233 has not yet been released , or wait a while .
But all you others may start if you so wish

And on that note I'd like to show you what I propose for this campaign! Fujimi's Bf109G-14 in Yugoslav markings specifically an ex Croatian Bf109G-10. Without further ado here are some pics

oh and it's a winged thing too ...... But it does have armour in it!

Hi Chris, nice to see someone else starting . Your choice is sure a cool one, and that is the sort of thing that is wished for here. My choice has not yet been released so I´ll hang on a month or so and see what happens

Hi Jeremy,
welcome to the Pirates campaign.
I must say I still have not gotten my choice, SdKfz 233 from Bronco, so I might have to choose something else.
My fingers are itching to start something here, and I suppose
I should as campaign leader .

Will be building a version captured by the Japanese, but it will be a two-tone camo pattern from a different unit than the one shown.

Ok time for me to start this one. Trumpy's Tiran, plus some extra tracks, (the ones provided in the kit are useful in building a slingshot at best ).

I might jump in in a month or two. I'm thinking of a Trumpy Aerosan with German markings. I've read ans seen pictures of captured examples.

Paul thanks a lot for your kind offer, but that wont be necessary, i just finished sanding down the road wheels and they dont look bad at all, the real problem is with drive sprockets. They will need some diet as they are too wide for the tracks. (They are both made by Trumpy, yet they dont match, maybe they should throw in a pair of sprockets in these tracks sets at least for their older releases like the T55). Hopefully soon an update.

PS. Sorry for the late response Paul, but i was away from home for a few days.

My Aerosan arrived today. It looks pretty straightforward, but looks to build up quite nicely.

I need to get a couple of other campaigns caught up then I'll start.

Cool Alex, but there is absolutely no rush my friend.
This one one runs till the 1st of March next year.
I think I'm going to go for a Crusader Mk 1 captured by the
Afrika Korps. I seem to be stuck on a desert thing at the moment (hint next years campaign "Desertised").

Paul,
I seem to be stuck on a winter theme myself.

The aerosan kit is pretty neat and I have to thank Sal for doing his for the Rapid Recon Campaign. I caught it on sale at Squadron for $6.29 and I couldn't resist. I'm going to tweak it a little to "Germanify" it as a captured vehicle. I'll probably mount a MG34 instead of the kit's Russian MG. I might slap a jerry can rack on each side. I might put it on a small base.

Thanks Alex, sounds like you have some cool ideas there Are your thoughts coming from an actual photo or just some artistic licenses
Either way looking forward to seeing you version

Okay guys and Gals a tad further on and most of the construction is out of the way! The canopy is masked and the wheels oleos and gear covers have had a coat of paint and assembled. They'll need some weathering etc before I attach them. In the mean time it's time to paint the canopy first in RLM66 then I can spray the camouflage before shooting a clear coat for the decals. I must admit to being entirely impressed with this Fujimi kit posable flaps and radiator doors make for a very life like model! Can't wait to get it finished! Here are some progress pics.
