This was suggested to me before when the Echlon netting turned out to be a disaster.Looks great, but even translating the website, there doesn't seem to be pricing or a way to order ???

Nice review of a very interesting netting. Please, post some more pictures when you apply the net to the model... I would love to see how it conforms to the vehicle.

Tom,
It is out of stock at the moment but is $6.29US per sheet, there is a tab at the top of the page to get the english version. If using google translate ect. click show original that should get the tab to swithch the site to english.

Mario,
It looks to conform nicely, it may be awhile before I get to use it. Still waiting on some parts to come in for my Leopard 2A6M Can.

Cheers Rob.

Well if it is as durable as it seems to be this might be just the ticket to my Leo 2A6m.

Now to find someone who sells it.

Richard,
It does seem to be durable, here is a link to the manufacturer's blog:

http://arkebuza-model-art.blogspot.ca/2011/12/ar35010-barracuda-camouflage-net.html

He should know who sells it.

Cheers Rob.

If you're not in a hurry (the item is out of stock in both cases), it looks like you could order it from these two webstores:

A-Z Models

AK Interactive

Disclaimer : I'm not on their payroll, just found them using Google

Very nice and I think the best aftermarket barracuda so far... but I would love to see it applied to the model. Not only stowed, but also to see how it conforms to the tank features.

A quick bump to this thread...

Has anyone actually applied this product to a model?

I am curious to see if it actually rolls, folds, and forms on a kit.

I have some at home, I'll snap some pics for you tonight. From what I have messed with so far is that it's a lot more durable and maleable than the Echelon decals.

Looks cool. Any chance of something for 70s-80s period nets? Or is there already something out there?

Do you have an image of what you are looking for?

Have you looked at the Accurate Armour Post WWII camouflage nets?

Here is a quick video of the product. Very nice to work with and a lot more forgiving than the Echelon decal.

Thanks for the video Rick,

I think it will really have to be worked over to give it a 3D look so it will look like a realistic cam net.

The good part is that it appears tough and can take some twisting and manipulating.

If you soak it in water does it become more pliable or does the stiffness remain?

Nice video Rick!

I started to put a Leopard II kit together to try this on but I have too many Campaigns to finish hopefully at the begining of the new year I can do that.

Cheers Rob.

I can't seem to find a good clear image. Unsurprisingly, I'm looking at stuff to go with my ever growing stash of Leo 1s. I'll check into the AA stuff. Thanks

(Just had a look, that does look temptingly tasty)

When you pull it and stretch it out it bends the strips outwards for a very effective 3D appearance. It doesn't stay flat like the Echelon decal. As far as water goes I'll try that tonight. But as it resembles paper I don't think it will too robust afterwards.

cheers
