Hi Lap Man,
I'm glad to see I was not the only one to forget the antennae,
but that is easily fixed.
Apart from that a fine build in the time frame you took

thanks for the extension. Since I have zero done. I should not have tried 2 campaigns at the same time. I'm going to switch to the Tortise since with only 1 set of tracks it should be a little easier, I should be able to get it done under the wire. Who needs sleep anyway.

I'm going to give in on this campaign, I don't want to rush either kit to meet the deadline, they deserve the attention of a relaxed build. It was a lot of fun watching the kits getting built. I did finish my Cold War entry though will post it soon. "Tanks" for the good times.

I liked having a time extension. I will be leaving for vacations so I am calling my model done for this campaign.

Happy modeling and have a nice vacation period.

put a coat of paint on my Tortoise, but otherwise very little progress as i am waiting for a metal barrel to arrive from Poland. the kit barrel was so badly warped that i just couldn't recover it.

Frankly, I am finding my first Meng kit to be a mixed bag. very nicely dome in some areas, but more thought is needed in some aspects of the kits 'buildability' (it was pretty frustrating in a couple spots), fit of parts was occasionally difficult, and the warped barrel didn't impress me either. But in the end, it'll make an accurate replica of a rare vehicle, so i can't complain TOO much.

I suspect Meng will sort out some of these concerns as they get more experience, and the detail and accuracy level they have managed early on is commendable.

Well, still on my super-heavy fetish.
Built the E-100
kitbashed E-100 IFV,
T-28
now just bought (Thanks Edward Krott!)another E-100 and an E-100 Jadg.

. . . maybe I need therapy . . .

Is there a metal replacement gun for the 170mm on the Jadg?
I'm thinking of rebuilding the turreted chassis into the Jadg a-la WOT, that is with the citadel in the rear instead.
But I need the gun.

Modeling is so much more relaxing than WOT.

Hi J.Poitras,
well I agree you need therapy alright in the form of a Maus, Tortoise and possibly a Karl.
As to your question about the replacement barrel, well the answer is yes
Here you can see it being added to Jagd E100 by Phil Wardukwnz on his "Tank Destroyer" campaign, its about 2/3rds down the page:
https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/192200&ord=&page=17

And here it is on RB Models site, also about 2/3rds down the page:

Dear Corsair, sometimes is getting run over by a train more relaxing than WoT. I can't wait for Warthunder to release Ground units. Their latest screenshots of Ferdinand were just incredible.

Guys,
I am not going to get my T-28 done.

I have only cleaned 3/4 of the parts and my PE just arrived.

I'm going to have to bow out.

Cheers Rob.
