A May-Day event, eh? Or is it Cinco de Mayo a little early!

Seeing as it doesn't kick off until out there... I can at least sign up!

Tasca Pz II L Luchs?
Dragon SdKfz 234/ XXX? (at least the /1, 2/, and /3 were recon... and that late-war one-off w/ the schwebelafette 2cm gun...)
Bronco 233 w/ 7.5cm L/24 (anticipated release)?
Italeri AB 40/41/43 kit?
AFV Club West German Wiesel w/ 2cm gun?

I have some choices in the pile for this one!

Hi Pat,
Just enlisted.
Thinking of a Tamiya Schwimmwagen if that's acceptable.

Cheers

Hi Pat,

I'm in with an older Dragon 250/9 recon kit. I think I'll pick up some AM tracks for it and then I just need a good figure or two to complete the build.

Hey Gary, I've got the bronco M24 chaffee sitting in the queue and it's a really nice kit. Bronco has done a fantastic job making the kit and even incorporated the correct turret now so you don't have to worry about trying to get an AM turret with correct weld and bend.

I'm looking foward to the start date for this campaign.

Later.

I'm in with two Italeri 1/35th offerings: First with the Autoblinda Pz.Sp.Wg.AB41 201 (i) and the second is the ABM 41/42 with 47/32 AT gun.

With my callsign being 4thLAV_Bn, it should be no surprise that I will be (finally) building the Trumpeter LAV-25 kit that I've been saving on the shelf. Not sure if I'll do it stock, or convert to the LAV-AT (all variants serve in the LAR battalions, I was a TOW gunner, hence my attachment to the AT variant), but it'll be an LAV. Gonna dig out my old pics from the footlocker to pic up flavor and detailling ideas.

Welcome Mathieu, Campaigns are simple this one doesn't start until May 1st so no building until then.
But you can pick your vehicle- anything that has been used in a reconnaiscance role and get your research done now.

When the campaign starts just build away and post photos and updates here in this thread and post 2 photos of the finished kit into the campaign Gallery.

Do you have a vehicle in mind?

Gary,

The Bronco Chaffee produces a good product but the kit has too many pieces and can be a bit of a pain in the butt at times.

later.

Hi Guys
I know this don't start until May 1st and there is no way I will be able to start on that date but I was wondering if a Soviet Rf8 Aerosan would be acceptable here
As I just remembered that I have this kit in my stash

Gary,

Yes, that's my build, thanks for the complement. Your Marder in the other campaign is a great one as well. Keep up the outstanding work and I look forward to seeing a figure or two on that one. I'm sure it will do well at the next show.

I'm looking foward to completing the current build (Stryker RV) and getting onto the next build before this campaign kicks off. I'm still trying to find a good figure for my 250/9 for this campaign. Any suggestions anyone?

Thanks

Kevin

Can I sign up? I'm fairly new at modelling and this would be my first campaign. So far I've only done 1/76 scale and I happen to have an Airfix Sd.Kfz 222 and Kubelwagen in my already substantial stash. I was thinking of making a small vignette.
