This is a review of Azimut Productions Panhard VPS conversion kit [kit 35110] for the 1/35 scale Revell Wolf LKw. Check out this rare subject both in real life as well as kit form, and see if this picks your interest in SOF vehicles in modern French military service.

YES! I wanted this kit and am glad you wrote a review on it. Thanks for writing it.

Question: Where all the parts there? Any way of buying aftermarket tires for the kit?

You're welcome, and yes this kit was on my wishlist for a long time as well. The parts are all in the box, and an bit extra (judging by the 2nd M2). I don't think you can get any other wheels as no other company does the MB alloy rims. Tires, perhaps but not this exact wheel setup. Speaking of French SOF, are there any figures that one could use with the VPS? I know of Blast figures but I'm still looking...

Legend makes two sets for the Wolf - standard and aggressive pattern tires. They come on different types of wheels. Each set comes with a spare as well. I have both - they look great.

AFAIK, these sets are designed for Land Rover kits, not Mercedes (or Panhard) kits...

where on earth can you find the kit? been trying for a long time and believe me AZIMUT is the last place to try; they don't return e-mails!

I had just the opposite experience with Azimut. My significant other was in Paris and I contacted the store few days before asking fort he directions to the store and the.kit stock, and the person answering was really nice and helpfull. I don't think anyone else has this kit except the Azimut online store.

Got my kit direct from Azimut, but the aftersales is shocking. Took me about three months to get the missing parts from them. Will never deal with them again online.
It is a cracking conversion though.
