Hey Paul, I didn't exactly plan to build the movie prop T-62's, just found them and wanted to share. I'm actually planning to build the short lived T-62 mod 62 with AT-3 missile launcher object 167. I have plenty of weapons left over from my trumpy hind that I plan to use.

I have just enlisted.
I have been wanting to do some Soviet armor from after the war, this is my chance.

I think it is fine to give William all the time he needs to participate in the campaign.

Cheers Rob.

I've been wanting to build a T-62, for some years now. I should have it, by Christmas. Maybe an X-mas present, to myself . I will be building Trumpeter's T-62 mod.62, with slat armor.

I came across this picture that really caught my attention and might just have to build it. It’s a T-62 belonging to Northern Alliance that has a KVPT mounted above the main gun, talk about some serious firepower. I just so happen to have a spare gun in my stash and I like the pain t scheme.

Hi there, and welcome to Matt and Rob. There´s plenty of time yet to choose which vehicle out of the plethora of Mk´s, versions and conversions out there.
I´ve informed William that no-one here has a problem with him starting earlier, so Wills start date is the 9th of Nov.
If you still want to take part Will?

@ Chris A: trust you to add another newbie to the huge collection .
What´s the size of the ammo bin, 1000 rounds?
And it looks like a crew member has left his lunch box and picnic blanket on the drivers hatch Certainly beats picnic-ing in Burghley Park watching the horse trials

Count me in. Unfortunately not a Tamiya.

But a Trumpeter T 55 model 1958 with BTU 55, plus the Eduard set and Trumpy's link by link tracks. I think it will do.

PS. Something tells me that mud and rust will rule this campaign.

I picked up Trumpy's T-62 BDD mod. 85. It's got a neat look to it.

Nice choice Alex.

Here is an Award, let me know what you think:-

Original:-

Shrunk down version:-

Does anyone know how to turn it into a GIF?
I'm afraid that is beyond me.

Not sure if this would work but try loading it into paint and use the save as function, then save as a .gif? Might work.

This is very tempting.

On the ribbon, have you tried it against a green background, or making the tanks yellow with the red background?

Hi Jeremy, do mean like this ? :-

I want to keep the red background to show where these beasts
came from.

Now you can all choose, either the black outlined and red, or
the yellow and red tank as for the award.

I just enlisted, but have a question; I have already started on my T54, meaning the hull had been roughly assembled + a few wheels.
Can I still join?

Hi Ron, show me a picture and we'll see.
You know that isn't normally allowed, that's why we have these "get'r'done" and "unfinished business" campaigns running.

Hi Ron,
if no one else has a problem with it then as far as I'm
concerned you can join in. After all it is an early Trumpeter
kit and you've got a lot more sanding and filling and.....
to do yet

Paul,
I like the red background with yellow tank. For me, the yellow shows up a lot better and I can tell that it's a T-tank. The white tank version, the details are more muted. I think that's the black lines' contrast with the red.

Being me, the colorblind thing comes into play so I may see it a bit different than the rest of you. Whatever is decided is fine with me.

So no more building until then.
