O.K. if this is true, can you just about imagine the COST !
This kit would be in the 150 to 200$ price range in our current
World Economy.
The way they keep Blowing Our Socks Off with all of these new
and fantastic kits then this kit Figures in the sceme of current
trends. ie; Obj 279, Is-4,!! Im just trying too figure out where in the world would i have room too display such a Monster.
Thats why i havent built my Dragon Scud kit as of yet.

Is it Resin or Plastic, either way it will burn a Big Hole in your paints let alone your wallet.
It will make the price of some of the Panzer Shop kits look like Pocket Change.

Hmmmm: An SS 20 would certainly whet my appetite, being a Cold War game-changer. Of course, we would then need a GLCM and I can't see anyone making that soon (Commander Models perhaps?), and a Pershing 2. I'd even settle for some of the smaller battlefield missiles such as a Lance in injected plastic, or even an Honest John - ideally, also in plastic.

I don't think we're too much off-thread as we're discussing missiles - be it large or small. I recall, and still have, the venerable 1:40 Corporal, which is all very well, but we really need these Cold War missiles in 1:35.

The recent inspirational Scrooge build proves that these missiles can be made but we need some more whether in resin or plastic (and obviously, I'd prefer the latter)- hence my interest in the SS20, but those early battlefield nukes are crying out for interest in them in 1:35.

I'd have to agree that this is, if it really happened, the sort of thing we'd see from Trumpeter, Meng seems, thus far to be focused on tanks and light vehicles.

Between Trumpeter and Hobby Boss, we've seen other vehicles at least in this range....

Now, as for other battlefield missiles, modern kits of those would be a dream, some of my favorite models from back in the early 80s, when I was JUST starting to try to paint and put more effort into the model than just gluing it together were the History Makers series of re-pops of all the old Revell and Renwal rocket and missile kits, so really nice kits of things like the Honest John, a Pershing, or even better yet the Nike Ajax and Nike Hercules would be awefully cool.

But, big Soviet stuff is even better, so if they really did do a Topol-M, I'd be on it like a duck on a june bug!

And just for one more Anti-aircraft plea - after the S-75 (SA-2), we really needed a S-125 (SA-3) follow-on - Just imagine how cool the various versions of that - particularly the rack of four on the T-55 chassis would be!

Just a moment of wishfulness (is it greed considering all that HAS been announced of late) - back to your regularly scheduled programming!
