Looking good. Lots of progress. I agree with Romain on all the points he just made. I hardly ever see a dio with the correct amount of rubble.

ok its a beautiful Sunday in Hanoi, and yesterday looking at my dio I found out that the Buildings look little bit empty. So, I begin to scratch out some furnitures for the buildings

and here is my Closet or something...its a bit too small to be a closet

Hi Kira,

it's a nice sunny Sunday over here as well!!

good idea to provide some furniture!

The size of the closet could be OK if it weren't for the style. These closets were made for bedclothes and the like, and they needed to be big
The one I have is easily 2m high and 1,6m wide. Just compare yours!

Furniture can be very tricky when you don't know your stuff! And it's more difficult to find good reference photos than for houses f.ex.

What you can (and should?) do is include framed pictures on the wall (tilted of course ) and maybe a carpet on the floor. What is easy and gratifying also are shelves with books. Shep Paine once gave away a trick. He modelled a small row of books out of putty. The books were different in size and volume. He then cast copies and arranged these at random in his shelves. By painting them in different colours and adding labels, he gave the illusion of many many books.

Carpets can meanwhile be bought (see "Reality in Scale" below). I used to get mine from carpet dealers' marketing flyers. You can also buy wallpaper these days....well, I used to paint my patterns by hand. There was not even a colour copier yet!!

Sounds like the Middle Ages for young people, doesn't it!

Well, you keep up the good work!!!

Cheers
