It's slowly getting there... keep it up.

Mario

Thanks Mario, it's a long grind :-/

With the 7 minutes available to me at the bench today, I refined the suspension support towers by clipping the corners off & adding the radii...

The mounts for the rear suspension rockers needed to be built up. This will be multi-staged, noting that some levelling & laminating is required.

Once that was glued & set aside for drying, the mounts for the radius arm bushes for the front axle were commenced. Again, this'll be a multi-step operation, building up the framework before finishing off the detail. Most of the radius arm bushes mounts were built up using 3.2mm square tube.

The intermediate suspension hangers were continued. These needed to be capped and then extended. Finally, the extrusions were added using 0.75 x 1.5 mm strip.

Capped & extended:

After a prolonged absence, I've managed to get back to the bench.

I'm zeroing in on the suspension at the moment: hence today's job of adding the rubber bump stops to the front of the chassis.

These were made pretty easy to make from a section of rectangular-section styrene with tapers cut into it. Once neatened up, they were mounted via 0.75 x 1mm scraps to represent the stand-off from the front chassis rails.

Well, after a brief seven-month trip away, it's almost time to return. To the build...
