I was rather surprised to see I was already registered.. I really don't remember ever doing so, lol.

I'll see what I have in my stash that I can build quick.

Well, though I'm way behind schedule, I'm getting close to being able to start painting (still need to get to the tow cable, fenders, and some more work on the p/e tool straps). Here's where she sits right now (it about killed me to put the sledge hammer and track tensioning tool on the rear deck, but that's how the Sherman rolls in WoT).

Where on earth did you get BL-10 barrel? I have Object 704 on my bench and even most desperate search found me nothing...

Pulled it off the Dragon ISU-152-2 kit. I was disappointed with the kit, so I decided to transfer the barrel and mantle to the Tamiya ISU 152. Would have been nice if they would have given us a turned metal barrel in there, but nope. There were two styles of muzzle break though.

Panther is finally finished. Tracks arrived late last week and finished it tonight. I put together a base as well- pictures will be online tonight or tomorrow- getting late here!

I've really enjoyed my first campaign and hope to be involved with many more. My workshop was partially remodeled in May, but MIG 25 for June. Not sure what's in store for July yet- I have in mind another (surprise!) WOT build for your enjoyment.

Take care all... I've really enjoyed all your builds and hope we can keep this video-game-build niche subject alive. Armored Warfare anyone?

Here are some photos I took tonight, as promised.

I did a very brief Photoshop job on the brightness/color balance contrast, cropping etc., but other than that, they are untouched. This tank is very hard to photograph at this scale due to the outrageously long barrel- ultimately some of the shots have the barrel cropped.

I was happy with the base I made and I learned a lot during the construction. The work lights can be powered by either a 9 V battery or a 12V power supply I have hooked to my shelf lighting. I have wired up a large work light (as seen in the premium shop), but it is not finished. I would like to add a stool and gantry, but that will have to wait.

As far as the Panther, it was a joy to build and I will be a buyer of Dragon kits. I added a brass hull MG and a brass antennae.

These are the first Friul tracks I have tried and although they are very expensive I will buy them again. The Dragon rubber band tracks are fair, but the look of metal tracks cannot be beat. My box (ATL-8) was sealed from Friul and I noticed (too late of course), that I received two left tracks- sigh. I am assuming that they are asymmetrical, but I may be wrong. They are certainly labeled left and right, so I am at a loss. The assembly was time consuming and tedious, but I have figured out a few tricks for the next time.

I used metal burnishing fluid on them and they came out just as I wanted after a quick highlighting with the sander. Much faster than painting and I believe more realistic for the scale.

Thanks again and enjoy the photos!
