This blossomed quickly.
I like the idea of a few more progress photos, with instructions in the back ground. I also know that stopping to photograph every few steps really inhibits the build. I'll say 5 progress photos with photographs of the instructions. However, you don't have to put them in the background. Just show them separately. It looks like I will be build the stuH 42(6633), unless I come across a good White Box deal. Oh, they MUST be GROUND vehicles. I'll get on to writing up the proposal, late next week. Going to start work on the ribbon, immediately.

OK, I'll bite;

Just curious; WHY have instructions-pics?

Perhaps I am confused, but hasn't this become more a Dragon kit-bash rather than an OOTB campaign? Instructions-pics would apply for an OOTB, but if I bring stuff in from other Dragon boxes...

Just to make sure that the parts are from Dragon/CH kits.

So... does this mean that we'll need to post photos of the instructions from each of the donor kit(s) involved in the build? (Being as the instructions from the first/base kit won't include the bits seconded from the other kits.)

Matt, may I suggest that DML be added to the center of the ribbon. Or if you want to go with a dragon, use the dragon emblem from their logo. I mention that because it's easily identifiable as being about that manufacturer. As is, the emblem...I think it's a dragon...is small and hard to make out.

Just a thought.

Any Dragon/CyberHobby ground vehicle in 1:72, 1:48 or 1:35. You may use multiple Dragon/CyberHobby kits, for one build. No aftermarket parts or scratch building is allowed. If you use parts from other kits, you must post photos of them and their location in the instructions. You must post the aforementioned photos(if applicable) and at least one photo of the kit before you start, three progress photos and one photo of the finished build in the campaign gallery. Any figures used must also be either Dragon or Cyberhobby products. Vignettes and dioramas are allowed. Products to build the base do not have to be Dragon or CyberHobby products. Multiple entries are fine, but only one ribbon will be awarded.

I have left out the date, but these are the basic guidelines.

Now, which shall I build? The stuH 42 or the M1A1 AIM? Yeah, I have a source for both.
I am trying to decide on another issue; whether or not to allow am stowage by other manufacturers. It completely slipped my mind. Most pre-modern vehicles were loaded with visible supplies. However, this falls outside of the campaign guidelines. What are you opinions?

Rules for the original Dragon OOB Campaign were NO AM, my thought process here was that Dragon loads there box up with all sorts of PE and other goodies on the Dragon card so no AM was allowed. Just my $.02

Do the build build out of box . Finish, weather and post your final pictures in the gallery.
Add your stowage after.

Matt, it's is in my opinion harder to show a kit without stowage, as this aspect means you can't cover up mistakes and such. I say go for it without any add-ons whatsoever.
As Marc has said, if the need be the vehicles could loaded and shown in a new thread later .

In at #2.

The timeframe works well for me.

I see the rules ay no dioramas. What about some sort of basic base? I ask because for part 1 I built a 5cm pak with crew and displayed it on a simple homemade base (Styrofoam sheet, celluclay, etc.). I doubt I would need or do a base for whatever I decide on, but others might. I'm probably going to do a vehicle/tank and keep it simple for the campaign.
