Hi Steffen,

Excellent work, I've been wanting to build one of these for some time, great motivator. Vehicle and figs look terrific.

Cheers

I echo, echo, echo the above comments. It looks wet. I love the transition from water to land. Very convincing. Nice one!

I absolutely love this! Serious eye candy. The wet conditions are very convincing. It's difficult to pull off this much "wet" without over-doing it and you did a perfect job. Last: I have never seen this type of weaponry mounted on a landing craft or LVT. I must say, I could look at this for hours.

I was watching a documentary at the weekend that included some footage of Winston Churchill crossing the Rhine in a LVT, and I thought that it would make a great diorama subject. No Churchill in yours, but everything else is there and you've done a great job all round. The water effects are particularly good. Very realistic - well done.

Thank you all!
I'm very happy that you enjoy this little scene.
@Nathan: The british LVT-4 hab sometimes this special 2cm Polsten Gun mounted. (This one here is from resicast.)
In the sideshields had been .50 or .30 machine guns - #57 had ( what I think to see in a few pictures ) .30.
But there are a lot of variants in the weapons at that time!

Have a good time,
Steffen

I keep coming back to look at this one. Really great!
What is the rope made of? It looks so soft and fussy and absolutely convincing

@Motives: I had this rope left from historic ship builds, it is a anchor rope.

not just the water effects are absolutely convincing. Check the grass! The transition in appearance and colour from close to the water where it is still muddy to the place further up the bank with its more green tone...
Awesome. Brilliant execution!
