Nice review. Thanks!

I'm not sure I agree with "the shapes are pretty good" statement though. Chris Meddings' review at PMMS provides more information on that: http://www.perthmilitarymodelling.com/reviews/vehicles/dragon/dr3555.html

BLACK PLAGUE DOES IT AGAIN!!! How many more times is DRAGON going to try to BAMBOOZLE US AGAIN?!??

MATT- Thanks for the "Heads-Up" about the kit in your build blog! It's always a treat to get news (fair warning) about a much-desired kit's good and bad points!

I think its time for Dragon to stop everything, take a serious look at themselves & think...where the "f" are we going? Who do we have to fire & hire to get back our market share?
Dragon, it's time to spend some of that revenue & build some kick ass detailed kits...new molds!!! If your going to invest in this half ass kinda job...don't even bother..because the modellers will know. Do it right or don't do it at all.

Thank you for the review. I would really like to build a Conqueror. However, I am cheap and unwilling to put the man hours in to correct trash. Sitting on my hands, until another manufacturer does it right. Dragon's news is hardly worth reading.

Time to take another look at my Cromwell Models kit I think, it's been sitting in the stash for about 16 years but it's still light years ahead of this piece of junk

I had a go at the M103A2 and the Kpz 70 I knew what I was getting in for and hoped that the conquerer was going to be okay but like the others it's not,
I don't understand Dragons motivation for doing these half effort, Zero Pe basic kits I honestly think they're not worth the Effort let alone the price they sell for if I saw one for half price I would get one but otherwise not at all.

My problem with these kits is that they are expensive, not that they are really bad. Combine it with Dragon-level pinpoint accurate engineering and it all goes downwards. For half the price I would not mind them, I guess their future is in the bargain bin, anyway...

I can explain that, Dragon has reached the point where they are so popular they can focus on nothing but making a money, safe in the knowledge that enough fanboys or idiots will buy a release to turn a profit no matter it's quality or similarity to an earlier kit, especially with the new craze for short run vehicles WOT has brought on.

It's a pity that after waiting for thismodel to come out, a disappointment arrived.
