A work of art, Jerry, and what modeling stamina and patience you have to pull off such an enormous project with all this detail.

Outstanding work Jerry! My only (very minor) quibble would be that the road looks too smooth, flat and clean. I would add more texture too it - put in a few lumps and bumps, add some more branches/twigs, rocks, horse apples, etc. Otherwise, perfect!

Fantastic diorama, Jerry, creative, interesting, loads of small items and awesome figure placement. The shot-up car, the bodies, the fear in the faces, the onset of panic are all well done and powerful. Great weathering and painting. What's not to like.

Jerry, Where did you get all the awesome foliage? What company? Or did you create it all by scratch?

Bill,
Thanks for your kind remarks. The foliage was mostly paper lazer cut leaves from Kamakazuri (may be spelled wrong) glued to small roots. The larger trees are made with larger roots glued together with the top branches made with sea foam and covered with flocking. There is a build log on this forum showing a lot of this in detail if you are so inclined.
Thanks again,
J

Thanks for all of the extremely kind remarks my friends!! I can't believe how long I was working on this one,off and on of course but still about 4 years!! Time flies doesn't it? I am so sorry Romain was not around to see it through.
Now....if I can only get my butt in gear to start the next thing.

Master model-making. Outstanding work. Should win something big at MosquitoCon next year, as well as AMPS.

Thanks Bill,
Don't know if I can take this to any shows as it is fairly fragile and the car ride may do it in!!
I won't go to AMPs any more. And nobody will miss me! Heheheh

Hi Jerry,

A really excellent build blog and a terrific result. You have a real gem here. Great work on modifying the bodies, detail, vehicles, animals and shubbery. A great mix of kits that blend well together for a super overall result.

Cheers
