An M113 exterior set like the FC set would be nice and some tie downs for the M113

M113 tie downs are available already at shapeways in 1/35

really ? I couldnt locate any I have tried searching the site 3-4 times unless they are listed as something else , would you happen to have a link to them ?

Is this the type you want here?

-T-72 Ural track guards: if you can get drawings and dimensions I'd be able to do them. I can't find any with a very quick Google search and I don't have the time to do very much research for any references.

unfortunately I have NO idea as to where to look, and not eure mr. google would know either, unless someone here has 35th scale line drawings of a ural

As far as the cost for the Tricons, I'm not sure. It probably would be cheaper than Shapeways just because that's how almost everything is. As far as how much cheaper, I don't know but checking is pretty easy.

No problem there - I just asked about the Tricon as the question occurred to me. Probably the cost on three of them is still too steep for me.

Just wanted you to know there was still an interest on some level.

Good luck with school.

Best Regards

Sorry I haven't been responding much here, I've been busy with a new semester with a heavy workload. I'll just respond to all the suggestions so far in order:

-I can definitely attempt the M113 interior parts if anyone can get all the details for the needed pieces to me. I've said that I didn't have time to do research in previous semesters but this semester I really don't have time for proper research.

-Same for the M35/M109 low-light grill. If anyone can get some drawings with some dimensions on it, it would make it easier to do and would save time.

-Mike: I don't know if the tricon would be cheaper but, if I can print it, I'd try to print the entire container. I've been having very bad luck trying to print individual parts that need to be assembled. I found that I can't print the T49/T67 because of that. I also forgot to get your trailer doors printed. For now, my printing is on hold because of the amount of schoolwork I have.

-T-72 Ural track guards: if you can get drawings and dimensions I'd be able to do them. I can't find any with a very quick Google search and I don't have the time to do very much research for any references.

Mike

Any chance that tricon would be any cheaper printed at your place than at Shapeways.

Again for me I would need 3 to use as a load for my LHS.

I suspect this may have been requested before...
A 'Low Headlight' M35/M109 grill/radiator in 1/35 scale (to replace the AFV Club 'High Headlight' version.

Thanks Gino!

I'd welcome a simple upgrade for the AFV Club M113 as well.

I prefer buying an affordale upgrade kit, to buying another kit for needed parts.

Regards,

Marc

Did anyone suggest the missing heater and other missing pieces from the AFV Club M113?

What's missing from the kit?

Mainly interior parts. This review at AMPS lays out what is missing and shows how to fix them.

M108/M109 Flotation Collar measurements.

Any luck on developing this part yet?

...

On Shapeways there is already one available from model monkey

Cheers
Walter

Thanks. I hadn't seen that one. I guess we don't need another.

Sure, I can do this pretty well. Just need some measurements and I can get started.

Great. These should do it.

I'm currently in the process of printing out a test model of the T49. It takes a very long time because many parts are so large. Both hull halves take just under 24 hours to print! Eventually I would like to try to sell it as a kit but unfortunately, I won't be able to offer very many. As a first run, I think I'll only be able to offer no more than 5 entire kits. If there's enough demand for more I'll try to print more if I have the time.

I now have the comparison prices between the old Grandfathered price and the new pricing system! If you want to see what the pricing difference will be, look here. Some prices may be lower but most will be higher. I haven't checked every price yet.

OUCH!!!
I will be ordering direct from your website instead. I did not see the P5 wheels in the list but can tell they will be butt-pain expensive.
I need too many more sets for ShapeWays to get all Mr. Burns (Simpsons) on me. Would it be possible to merge the rubber and steel wheels into a single piece (pieces 1 and 3 from the drawings [builder can supply the shaft])?
May make it cheaper and easier to apply to the kit, especially for the inside wheels.
