Gary outlines his experience building the finely detailed Tamiya Mossie in 1/32 scale which is a new tool kit that came out mid-2015.

Gary, that is a beautiful looking Mossie. I was wondering why it looked familiar...we have crossed paths on YouTube on several occasions. Once again, a fantastic build. Great to see it in 487 Squadron markings too.

Best wishes,

Ian

Great review, love your writing style Gary! Really nice build as well, just a shame about the decals. I constantly wonder why Tamiya persist with the thicker decals while putting out such magnificently engineered kits.

Gary, splendid mossie! For such a big build, you did a fantastic job of paring the feature down to show important aspects, while not overwhelming it with too many images. Excellent work. A shame Tamiya makes the decals and P/E so thick.

I had a chance to get this one for almost half-off over Christmas AND I BLEW IT!!! I'm so mad. I thought, "this isn't a plane I'm all that crazy about," but it looks like another GREAT Tamiya 1/32nd kit to go along with their two Corsairs.

Gary,
Just another extremely well written build/review in your personal style that has become one of, if not my favorite.

You certainly did justice to the kit, and the end result looks truly outstanding. From what I could see in the pictures, the decals are ok, but up close and personal is the only way to see just how good or bad they are.
