Very nice job on your JP. I love the weathering on it. I am currently building the Dragon G1 JP with Cavalier Zimmerit, Fruil tracks and Griffon photoetch. I hope mine turns out half as nice as yours. Great job you have done. Best regards.....Dale

Thanks Frederick. It is the Dragon 6393 kit with Griffon Model photoetched set, Master Club metal tracks and Karaya tow cables.

Muzonat,
Very nicely done! Fantastic effort from the bottom to the top. I like the scratches on the superstructure, they add a nice dimension od wear and tear.

Great work!

Muzonat,
An awesome job. Truly a work of inspiration. The only thing that I see is that on the exhaust on the left, the two outside pipes are actually air inlet pipes and should not be rusted out like the main pipes.

Excellent job - the camo looks great and the weathering is very realistic. Since the rear hatch is open did you build the interior?

The grills on the engine deck are for cooling air for the radiator and oil cooler, not engine exhaust, so the screens should not be blackened (unless you are depicting an engine fire on a knocked out vehicle). Just dry brush the screens with the cammo colors.

Excellent build and paint job!

I really like the "finesse" of the paint job and weathering...
it is not overdone.

Cheers,
Joe

Actually they were in camo color but suddenly I decided to add some dark color as I saw a reference Panther with darker engine grills which was still in service.

I don't know where to start with the superlatives other than to say this is one of the most (realistic) finished and painted WW2 AFVs I have ever seen; including numerous visits to Euro Militaire where world class models are always in evidence.

Credible and restrained levels of weathering and general wear and tear without some of the fantasy 'chipping' and 'rust everywhere' finishes more representative of an old static tractor rotting in a farmyard for 30 years than a armoured steel AFV with a combat lifespan measured (most often) only in weeks or months at most.

Truly, this is a magnificent example of AFV modelling and painting skills.

Have to agree with all the positive comments. Even on the closest inspection this could pass for the real thing.

Hope the crew had better luck with the gun than the bucket--their aim with the latter seems a bit sketchy!

Thank you so much Gary. I'm trying to do my best when building these kits. At the moment I start to build an African Tiger of Pz.Abt.501. Hopefully it will come out nicely.

cheers
