I got the Voyager Model PE 35504 Merkava 3D Side Skirts set for my Meng Merkava 3D Early tank. I am confused about the steps on Page 1/3 which outline how to construct the PE Side Skirt Mounting Brackets. For each of the 10 individual brackets, there is an indication of what I BELIEVE are 4 1mm diameter plastic tubes that I THINK are supposed to extend and be part of the attachment points for the side skirts. The parts are indicated a 0 with diagonal slash through it, followed by a 1.0. I am unsure what this indication means. Is it supposed to mean tube plastic 1mm long? Or does it indicate 1mm diameter plastic tube, with no length stated? Again, I THINK that these plastic tube pieces are supposed to fit into holes that appear to be made in the front and back parts of the skirts in the locations where these tubular plastic parts would fit through, and those holes appear to be about 1mm in diameter. But, if that's the indication on the instruction page (the tubular diameter, how long are those pieced supposed to be? Are those tubular plastic pieces supposed to fit through the holes in the skits, and end up being flush with the front (outside) plate of the skirt? I hope I am explaining this correctly, otherwise I can post a portion of the instruction sheet. PLEASE HELP!

Curt,
The symbology you are referring to indicates the diameter of the plastic or brass rod needed to install the part. On Voyager's older sets, the diameter used to be in a colored circle with a diameter and then length stated next to it. The newer releases I have are now in black and white only and use the 0 with the line through it just to give diameter without a length specified. I much prefer the old way, but they may have had complaints if they specified an incorrect length somewhere. Hope this helps.

Best of luck,
Paul H

Hi Paul,
Thanks a bunch...yes, that certainly does help! With at least that much known, I'm guessing I can work out the lengths once I assemble the actual skirts and try to mount them. Appreciate the assistance!
