Asuka 35026-HH sells for 400 Japanese Yen + postage

You may want to add more sprues to get the turret and hull parts.
/ Robin

Hi Robin.
I ordered from them three weeks ago, and I still haven't received anything other the payment confirmation from PayPal. I sent an email to the virtual shop and still no answer. Did you, or any of the other users have the same experience? Should I wait for the 45 days to pass and then I ask PayPal a refund or wait for the parcel to arrive?
Asuka (or Tasca) didn't send any message about my order's status.
This is very annoying.
Thanks.

Hi, Marius!

Yes, this is annoying for you!

I would annoy THEM by sending them an email every day until I got an answer.

You never know, ASUKA/TASCA may send you your parts in the meantime, which probably need to be taken directly off the production lines, OR, they might be trying to build their spare parts inventory back up again until they send out any more individual sprues to customers.

ASUKA/TASCA is a Model KIT Manufacturer, and I'm sure that they would rather sell complete model kits, rather than selling individual sprues to modellers who are building/kit-bashing/converting/updating/backdating or "correcting" kits that they already have. In other words, they want you to buy TWO kits in order to build ONE model...

Personally, I would buy my ASUKA/TASCA Sherman or Luchs parts from a Hobby Distributor such as Hobby Link Japan, rather than directly from the manufacturer...

Good Luck, and once you have your parts, I'm sure that the rest of us here would be very interested is reading about and seeing your build's progression and completion!

Eduard M4A1 Sherman / with Tasca sprues & Eduard PE sets.

Hi, David!

Saw one of these on ebay recently, listed for $68.00USD + Shipping! One reason why this kit is so expensive is that EDUARD usually includes PE, different decals, painting masks, and some form of resin parts, making this "ProfiPACK" kit a pretty good deal...

Thanks for the feedback, Dennis.
I will keep sending them emails until they will bother to answer, and I will let you know the results.

I seen one at my LHS and, contrary to other Eduard Profipack kits, this one includes even less PE than the original Tasca one. It doesn't even offer the headlight protection in PE.
I see no point in buying the Eduard rebox, as it doesn't bring anything more and is still as expensive, but this is just my opinion.

Thank YOU, Marius! You have just made up my mind for me to NOT buy this kit! Needless to say, my previous impression of EDUARD's "ProfiPACK" M4A1 has CHANGED!

I have had the same thing happen. I sent a message and got a reply a few days later. The parts showed up a week later. Sometimes they can seem to take a while. Keep in mind these are small packets, unless you go for costly air mail.

Thank you for the feedback, Randall. I guess I will wait for another few days to see what happens, and then, if they won't answer, I will message them again.

I finally got the parcel from Asuka, the delay was partly due to a postmen strike. Very good quality parts for a very very reasonable price.
