Working on the gun and mount. Trumpeter didn't do a bad job, but theres still plenty to add or detail.

Only a few more things to do in the hull now, then I can move to the outside.

Don't know what to build now!

Hi Sam
This is insane build..insane finished... your attention to detail is amazing...
Only a week ago i had this feeling to get this kit.. but after a long long thinking i guessed with my skill n speed this thing will be forever to completed. So i decided to get the 1/16 M16 instead.
I still have the 1/16;panzer IV hiding somewhere which i dont know when can i start.

Thanks for sharing your step by step photos and making me feel so tiny.
Amazing job...

You say Trumpeter is coming out with a1/16 scale M1A1?

Is it not Tamiya?

Cheers

Both Tamiya & Trumpeter are releasing 1/16 static kits of the Abrams. Judging by the construction, Tamiya will likely release a R/C version, too.

So I bet Trumpeter's will be cheaper then Tamiya.

I remember when I bought the static Tiger I , cost $315.00 , and I still have it. Where as the Trumpeter T /34 Type 85 cost $125.00. Granted no metal in the T/34 except them spring deals I think, but way cheaper.
