Right now the technical is completed thought I might crack on with a diorama.

Given the amount on news clips about Syria over the last few months I decided to try replicate a scene from one of the many ruined streets.

For this I used the Dio Dump road section/ Reality in scale Corner building and cut down the MIG ruined car.

This has become a slow burner, but have put together some pallets as the start of the barrier...

Hey Paul, nice concept you got going here. That MIG ruined vehicle is one hard item to find. I shopped around for a while in hopes of including it on my dio but sold out everywhere I looked. Good job thus far. I will follow and looking forward to your updates. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks Guys

Over the weekend I started on the car - I wanted to add some colour to this rather than just a rusted hulk so went down the route of the hairspray method over various hues of rust colour- still a long way to go on this.

Excellent work. Do you have figures picked out or will you play it by ear?

Excellent planning thus far Paul. The WIP is coming alone nicely and I look forward to your continued progress on the Mig Burnt Car kit. A friend from this site just donated this kit to me for my diorama project and I'm pretty excited and appreciative as well. Hopefully I can do the kit justice by weathering her right.

Thanks for sharing & happy modeling !

Very inspiring build! Is there still a source where one could buy Mig's 'burnt car"?

assume that you would have to look at ebay

Having had a couple of days off work I decised to crack on with some details to the building.

Firstly using an old ping pong ball I made a Sat Dish -

I have also started building other bits to add ..
