This is my first post here. I finished the model at the moment. I spent a year with the build. Sherman is by tasca, excellent kit ever. No aftermarket set used, just only set british ww2 equipment by bronco. And some features were improved, for example springs of driver and co-driver hatchs. Another improvement is attached M8 nuts into hull to reach the model looks heavy as origin. So have a look pictures. I look forward for yours feedback :-)

That's a great-looking Sherman. I'm thinking about getting a Mk V too so I can build a postwar Sherman. Whatever happened to the Shermans your country used during the war? Were they handed over to the restored Czechoslovak armed forces after VE Day? I've seen C-47s, Spitfires, Mosquitos, and B-24s in Czechoslovak colors so I know some Western aircraft were transferred.I guess anything not relinquished by the time of the 1948 putsch would have been retained by the British?

Well, I didnt note in previous post, this is sherman of 2nd irish guard used in Netherland 1944 ( Market garden ). Iīm not sure if CSOB used britsh shermans, but there are lot of pictures with cromwell or Stuart. CS army used many "west provenance" weapons after war, but we had to scraped (mosquitos)or sold to Israel ( spitfires ), because we oriented to USSR which delivered its waepons us. Just let me know if I answered your question or would you like to get know other points.

Very nice work. The only thing I see lacking in the Tasca Shermans is the weld seam that would attach the front glacis plate to the hull-side on the welded hull variants. It would appear you enhanced yours? It's barely noticeable on the kit; the detail is too faint. But I can see the weld seam in your pics. What did you do?

Well, this weldment is created by me. I used plastic rod (from sprue), which was pull out above candel to get required diam. and lenght. Just one of common way how to make a weldment.
