I am back after a long break. Let's see how hard I fail on the biggest project I will probably try to to make in my life. Is it possible that a early stage tiger/tanks somehow survived it till the last days of war and its being used as leftovers for the final stand? As for now the idea is an armed column moving next to a repair Depot. It will represent the final days of the war with some experimental tanks brought back to life. The layout is just a dream soon going to start working it out more. As me being lazy and planning this for a while I hope to motivate myself to continue the build by posting it on the group . Please give an opinion if it comes to realism as I have no knowledge if it comes to history and realism. (the diorama dimensions will be probably extended)

Very impressive and ambitious. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product. Good luck!

Ambitious might be an understatement. This could take a while, so may as well settle in and watch as this progresses. Look forward to updates.

Tried making a nice photosetup hope it turned out decent. This is what I have at the moment in progress. The panther will be burned out probably, the tiger needs a repaint aswell as the armored transporter and the pzIV,still asking myself if the ferdinand also needs a new coat. Started working on the first of the many kits with the kettenkraftrad.

Hubert, dude this is awesome!
Im really looking frwd to what goes on here. I dont know what all the white structure pcs will be, can only add to the allure.
And all the late war equipment, weapons, and figures are actually quite staggering! I spy a horse, tracked nebelwerfer, different SPG's and armor, soft skins, maintenance, medical, and motorcycle troops, and naturally supplies.
I do have one small concern tho Hubert: What? No bicycle troops!?
No seriously, Looks real promising.
Cheers
Dave

Yes a massive build, but the problem is that as a 16 year old it's hard to find balance between school, friends, hobbies and sleep.
As I tried painting a figure yesterday and failed miserably could anyone suggest a good guide on how to paint figures, especially the faces and skintones?

Primed and painted the PzIv,Tiger,Kubelwagen,flak88,kettenkrad and motorcycle. Dusted the Waffentrager, started to do the figures only about 50 more to go. Also made some pics of the trees I wanne use. Will try to finish the Hummel in the weekend my figure painting is still on the weak side so I need to pick up the courage as long as I can enjoy watching

well, I understand you're having fun but ... this is way out of any historical context (maybe that'S what you want ...)
so please take my comments as strictly constructive ones, i'm in no way bashing your work !

there's no chance you can have a early tiger, an elephant, an early panzer IV and paper panzers in the same action.
same for the figures : some are summer uniforms while others are wearing winter eastern front clothing ...
whatever your goal : always try to think logically and timely
you're young and up to a good start, you just need to think a bit more about the possibilities of a scenario on a diorama. WWII was not a Rave party

here you have at least 3 or 4 dios possibilities, why not focus on each one ?

keep having fun anyway

Criticism is the most welcome part for me. I am no history expert I just love everything that has an engine.Thats why I need your help I asked above if there are at least slightly any arguments as for a early tiger making it through the war without any modifactions,as for the uniforms the figures wearing the winter coats can simply be left out. I geuss the tiger will be extremely hard to rework into a late one. I may try to change the pz4 into a beobachtungs panther. The turret of the panther made into a Pantherturm if its even possible for that era. As for the elefant did they not survive till the end of the war fighting close to Berlin?.As for making smaller dioramas I always wanted to make a bigger one because bigger is better kids logic . Nothing is set I am posting this on the forum so I can get help to decide whats the right direction

This represents a lot of effort and it came out very nice indeed. Not sure whats going on exactly, but hey it still looks good, liking the trees as a backdrop too.

I LOVE this diorama! Great job! You did a fantastic job on the ground work and scenery. The vehicles look like grungy late war examples. Thanks for sharing.
