Hi all this is my first post on this forum.I could not get the pics from the gallery to my thread so I will try photobucket instead.

Ahh, this brings back memories of my younger days! The Airfix kit was good for the time and it still stands up well despite its years. You have modelled the Lee, not the Grant, but not that nomenclature matters, it is a nice model and you have brought out the best in it. I still use dry-brushing, even though the trend nowadays is for Zenithal lights and modulation, it is still a very effective way of showing detail. If this is your first post then well done a nice introduction and I look forward to seeing more of your work.

Hi Paul,I knew it was a Lee,its just I typed Grant,another senior moment.I am having a lot of them lately. I have never used weathering products,too long in the tooth for that.I just dry brush to bring out the detail and I happy with that.Thanks for the kind words.

Nice finish on this ancient kit, however, I hate to say it but I think you've mounted the turret gun too low. If should be within the rounded bulge on the turret face.



Just something to mind for next time!
