You could always do a REFORGER vehicle, lots of crap on it, solid green, lots of pics online.

Google "M2 Bradley in REFORGER"

After much consideration I have decided to go for a reforger vehicle. If I will keep on doing modern armor I think I will get my fair share of desert tan vehicles anyway .

So.. For the TOW I guess it is a blue stripe at the nose and no tail stripe even though the instructions says blue and yellow?

I would vote for blue stripe for the nose and brown stripe for the tail like in the picture below :

I agree with Frenchy. The brown stripe is always there to denote the motor end, even on blue-striped practice rounds w/o the motor since they are made to look the same as live rounds.

Quite some time since I worked on this. I have made some progress and are now trying to do the exterior paint job.

What color would you recommend for a Reforger bradley? Primarily I use the Valejo Air colors and I'm thinking that 70.608 US Olive drab could work out, but it is hard to make any good comparisons to the rather old photos I can find. On most photos it looks like the color is maybe even more greyish

The US stopped using Olive Drab in 1974. The base color for the MERDC four-color schemes was FS-34079 Forest Green, which lacks the brownish tone of OD. The three camouflage colors were applied over this, but by the 1980's, many units left their vehicles in the base green color. The FS 34079 color is available from Testors Model Master as a USAF color. You may want to lighten it with yellow ochre for scale effect.
