A ISU-152 K in the Yom Kippur war 1973, digged in on the east side of the Suez-Channel:

I used the Trumpeter kit, with Aber and RB Barrels. Figures from Meng and Tamiya:

Really nice work, Tobias! Leaving the back end open for the ISU to get in/out was a good idea. Thanks for showing us your fine work!

I dunno, think you'd have to be kind of foolhardy to consider a live snake a "snack".

The only thing I notice that might add to the accuracy is the wood plank. I don't think they would have a solid piece that wide. It would also be dirty from the soil being ground into it as they walked back and forth across it. Maybe use an ammo crate lid.

Agree with the above comment about the wooden deck.

But what I find particularly anachronic is the plastic water bottle.
I may be wrong but it was in that year 1973 when Dupont just patented the PET bottles, and they were not popular until the 80's, so it seems unlikely that the Egyptians already had them...
The guy with the knitted beanie also shows too "modern-ish" clothes, but that's just my point of view.

I konw, but I used what I got in my stock. Maybe a company should make some arab war stuff for the modelers.
