I hope it's a Lee. If it's a Sherman, it's well covered territory, unless there's interior, and that tease doesn't suggest interior.

Early Shermans used them too. Given the saturation of Shermans on the market, I'd be happy with a Grant/Lee.

That piece looks awfully detailed to be 1/35 scale. You suppose they are going for a large scale release, like 1/16 maybe?

Knowing Takoms knack of (mostly) choosing subjects which havent been done to death but have a lot of requests, my money goes on a 1/35 Lee/Grant series...which, if true, will be great. The Academy ones are kinda blah and the old Tamiya ones....well, what can you say, they are OLD. No doubt I am completely wrong....it wouldn't be the first time.

Ohh god let it be a Lee both versions please, could also do the Grant as well as the recovery Lee & if they really want to smash the market to a Bergepanther G.

And this is coming from a guy who has converted to post war soviet steel.

As much as I want, desire and need a proper wartime Lee ( as opposed to a 1941 early type)

Something about the width of the road wheel strikes me being more narrow than the M3/M4 standard so I am thinking M2 medium rather than M3 medium.

Whereas I can never have enough M3 Lee. Imagine if they did a late Burma Lee with the extra storage and flat cupola? How about an M3A1 CDL?

I'm just hoping they throw us a curve rather than one right down the middle.

Seeing that I just spent a boat load of money, time, and effort correcting Academy's pretty poor rendition of the M3 Medium, my vote is that is an M3 Medium. However, another line of M4 mediums would be nice, too.

I'd really like Takom to do for the M3 medium series what they did for the T-55 and M47. Multiple kits with options.

So not just another M3 medium but the later rebuilt version actually used in Tunisia. Optional welded up side doors, a kit without the side doors that has the storage boxes and ventilators. Correct rear hull boxes in the kit! A Grant I with the freaking driver's periscope and a choice of fender styles and full British storage and WE210 track. A Ram Kangaroo, a Burma Lee/Grant, a Grant Mark II, Grant and Lee CDL (with the M3A1 hull)

Takom just go crazy with it. None of it has ever been done.
