Steve - Yup, this campaign is just about over, we go until the end of the month. You are moving right along and looking good. I'm a bit behind you but should get in under the wire.

Spud - Great looking aircraft, I particularly like the picture of Betty Boop, something that might egg me on to build my own version.

My BT-5 is moving along bit by bit. The tracks are done and being weathered now. The tank itself is also well along with decals on and the start of weathering last night. I'll shoot some pics later on to show how it looks.

How are you going with your builds? Is everyone going to be done in time?

Matt, what a great scene. Really well done.
Lap man, nice progress, what shade or mix have you used for the top of the fuselage?

I use Tamiya XF-60 dark yellow to paint the model without shading.

A bit of progress to report with some pics that are somewhat behind the build itself. I think I have a few more recent ones but they seem to have gone walkabout . . .

Sharp eyed observers might notice that some of the plane plates are assembled upside down – get out the debonder again . . .

Steve - Looking good on your T-26, very colorful which is saying something for a tank.

Matthew - Magnificent, just amazing! When I first saw the pictures I thought you had found some pics of a restored example with re-enactors on board. I tumbled after looking a bit but your work is good enough to fool my old eyes.

My SCW Soviet BT-5 is done and "dusted." I had only a few photos of these tanks in the field and the vehicles seemed to be quite dusty with a light colored dust. My intention was to show a used tank shipped to Spain with signs of previous use in the Soviet Union somewhere. I guessed that the tanks would have been serviced and had a respray over existing wear & tear.

In looking over the pictures that shovel needs some toning down and the dusting looks too light. Overall the old Zevzda kit came out well with some AM items and a bit of work. My skills do get better as I go . . .

Don't forget to upload pictures of your completed model to the Spanish Civil War Gallery:

https://gallery.kitmaker.net/showgallery.php?cat=31061

This is required to get the badge of completion. Right now only four of us have uploaded pictures!

Well done gang and a super scenario Matthew

Been trying to up load photos for the past hour, and nothing has taken, either in the SCW or my photos!

Hopefully it will be sorted by the time I get home from work tonight?

Its finished, which is something of a miracle in itself!
Some photos from Imgur until the gallery works!

its not great but it is a learning curve, the tristar kit has soft detail which I haven't helped with heavy paintwork.
The Breda conversion a scratch build was really good fun, there are figures and a base still to do, before I will be happy.
I have a Stug III G 10.5 to finish next, by the end of July then the SturmTiger prototype before the end of the year.
Then bases for them all and figures to do before 111118, so I will get back to it later.

Well done everyone who has finished, hopefully the gallery will allow me to upload later

regards

Steve H

Paul, Nice looking T26!I like the rusted exhaust.
Steve, I am inspired by your panzer i breda conversion. I may try that myself with the Hobby Boss (ex-Tristar) panzer i I bought a couple of months ago.

Now it’s time to finish my panzer iv F2 in the workhorse campaign.

I must say I really enjoyed SCW. Well done everyone!

Cheers

Steve - Your panzer 1 with Breda conversion came out very well. The paint chipping and rust is effective. I just checked the gallery and did not see any pics. Try to upload again and let us know hat happens.

Got there in the end

3 in the SCW gallery , and some more in mine too

Not sure how to add them from the gallery, but its late and it can wait for another day

Matthew, have a go, you will be better with the Aber Breda gun the rest is all scratch and fun, with a little research.
As I got a massive pack of SCW decals, there will be more at a later date, with lots of alternative paint schemes too.

Time for me to get back to the Stug and SturmTiger,

So many kits, not enough time LOL
